    First….(haltingly).

Anyway never seen Damilola looking this nice before, that’s what good styling does. She should employ the stylist permanently. :)))

Noooooooooooo!!! This is clearly a good idea that was executed badly. The cover page is just W.R.O.N.G. Why does Ms Oshinowo look like she wants to take a peep at Ms Agbajor’s boobs and then decided not to at the last minute hence, the pinched/pained look on her face. Also, Ms Agbajor could have been covered up a bit more. I guess the stylist needs to be held responsible for that. I’m thinking really hard for somethig positive to say but I’m grappling. Kudos to whoever came up with the idea to feature two beauty queens from different generations but the execution was a letdown.

Thank you Ivoire- no, it was not a very good- Oshinowo looks so dated beside this young model and she needs to dress her age a bit more. Sure she was most beautiful girl in nigeria but she needs to move away from that too young look

She’s not a model. She’s a beauty queen. Two very different concepts

Nike looks nice thou always has the same facial expression, not sure about the Dami gal… she needs to personally get her self together, before any stylist can help.. i think confidence is missing somewer.. she always looks lost

    June 10, 2011 at 10:42 am

I don’t care for the styling on the cover or the ballerina-like outfits either. Nike Oshinowo is a beautiful woman. I hope I look half as good at her age.

I so want to hang the last photo on my wall. Is so edgy and beautiful(aside from the visisble strain at the back of her leg in the last photo) its just super beautiful..it should be on vogue, i loove

Nice pictures! They both look great, though the clothes arent fantastic!
Secondly, did Nike Osinowo get a nose job? The first picture, which seems like the magazine cover makes it look like she had some work done on her nose.

  25. bluebubbles

    June 10, 2011 at 1:27 pm

Neon I guess u mite be rite on that botox thing?just like Bree van de Kamp on desperate housewives that always has only one expression on her face whether happy sad or angry and I think Damilola had to match up Nike’s look that is why they are both carrying thesame pained expression.and can someone take a closer look at Nike’s nose and see if u r thinking what im thinking?

  26. ugowoundo

    June 10, 2011 at 1:34 pm

…..this nike na waoo…..who says i can’t date an older lady…NIKE…is one woman i would love to date even if if she is 60….lol……no be me talk ooo…abeg!!!

  27. My Name is Bond - Jemma Bond

    June 10, 2011 at 3:07 pm

No offence to Nike, but Damilola should have posed alone. Nike looks a tad miserable in the first photo. The last photo is quite edgy, but the legs look like they don’t belong to the body. As for those who say that Nike has only one facial expression, then maybe the rumours are true – she probably DID have botox. Fess up, Nike!

  28. Allegra

    June 10, 2011 at 3:19 pm

They both look gr8 although Nike looks better……..Damilola is painfully thin and not showing the clothes off to her best advantage unlike Nike. I guess like fine wine, gets better with age.

  29. Roli

    June 10, 2011 at 3:38 pm

Okay, nothing fantastic…Nike hasn’t had kids..it’s easy to look that way then…dam too thin. Styling not ezinne’s top 10. Better next time.

    • Havesaidmyown

      June 11, 2011 at 7:50 am

Ok, I have Nike’s statue and I am married with 4 kids. What’s your point precisely? You think it is all women that blow up once they birth kids? My mom has 4 grown kids too and she is tall and slim. Not everyone is meant to grow huge after kids….DNA has much to do with it too.

It’s time for nike to shift she still thinks she is in the year 1991 when she won abeg move over for the new ones it is not a must that you must be with every beauty queen that wins.

  36. Eva

    June 10, 2011 at 11:38 pm

There’s sthg abt Makida’s legs. They always look bigger than her body.

  37. Toriola

    June 11, 2011 at 2:42 am

zero personality/chemistry in the foto. Dami looks lovely tho…the best i ve seen

  38. Toriola

    June 11, 2011 at 2:57 am

and to those saying Dami is too thin…are u friggin kidding me? i guess that gives away the fati ropotos among y’all. that s the ideal size for such young girl. when she gets older sshe will even out. stop using style to cheer on obesity. Not everyone eats isi ewu and pounded yam for dinner so free the chic

  39. francex

    June 11, 2011 at 8:47 am

Nike’s facial expression kind of reminds me of eva longoria…lol_ gudwork

    June 11, 2011 at 6:07 pm

Nike Oshinowo is way too old for the little red dress, she looks extremely age inappropriate in them dunno what ahe was thinking. Whoever says she looks nice in them is really fashion stoned cos the fashion police would have had a filled day with this. She’s a hot lady though..but plsss

    • Foxtrot

      June 13, 2011 at 9:15 am

I completely agree with you……….didnt read yoru comments before i put mine up. The lady needs to accept that she is getting old and dress appropriately. Why try to compete with a 21 year old!

seriously, the short red dress is so wrong for nike oshinowo and why does she have this pained look on her face all the time. to me, it looks like there is a friction between the two of them.

  45. Foxtrot

    June 13, 2011 at 9:14 am

Not good at all – both ladies are inappropriately dressed, Mama Nike is way too old for the clothes and the make up, and all the poses are bad!

Why cant we do these things professionally in Nigeria especialy if you are going to put the picture on the cover fo your magazine! haba!

The dress worn by Damilola in the fist picture to the right is by Danish designer Malene Birger.
I live in Oslo, Norway, Scandinavia, (Relocated from Los Angeles) so it’s really nice to see that u are using designers from Scandinavia and I also bring a lot of Nigerian/African fashion here to Norway. I wore a lot on the red carpet events @ The Cannes film festival this year and they loved it!!!!
