“The Breathless Experience” Collection by Miss Majin

On Sunday 20th November 2011, Miss Majin unveiled her latest collection “The Breathless Experience” at the Civic Centre.

Here’s what Miss Majin said about her collection I named my collection after one of my songs. Obviously the song is titled breathless. It’s a song I wrote and eventually recorded. “Breathless also means excitement, the lyrics of the song is about a person that makes you very excited. Beautiful clothes excites me as well as a lot of other people so I wanted the name of the collection to represent this excitement and experience . And so the ‘Breathless Experience Collection’ came to be.
When you’re excited it shows, it’s a natural, genuine feeling not forced. That’s exactly how I wanted the collection to be. I wanted beautiful clothes with a careless charm to them. In choosing the fabrics I had a mix of abstract prints, cotton lace, Chantilly lace, crepe, chiffon .

I also played with a few precious stones and pearls. With the accessories used I created my own. My sister was commenting on one of the outfits and she mentioned that people would think it was a ready made accessory attached to one of my dresses not knowing I created 3 elements to get that look.
With the colors, I used different colors but I didn’t want the colors to be too bold or the styles exaggerated. I wanted to have some lightness and freedom to the entire collection.
I named the models disco princesses”
