After the successful launch of her hair extension line – Sylvia’s Hair in December last year, MGBN 2011 winner Sylvia Nduka recently launched the hair extension line’s flagship store Sylvia’s Hair Gallery in Surulere, Lagos.
The event which kicked off by 1 PM, saw in attendance Sylvia’s Hair models – MBGN 2011 Miss Universe Sophia Gemal, models Veezee and Ify, Nigerian musician Sexy Steel, Abdul of STV E! Weekly, Gulder Ultimate Search Season 7 Winner Qriss Okagbue, media representatives and many others, who came to support Sylvia Nduka and shop for her hair extensions.
According to Sylvia’s Hair rep, the opening of Sylvia’s Hair Gallery signaled a new dawn in the Nigerian beauty and fashion industry. We certainly think so, check out all the exclusive photos from the launch.

Na wa sha
Excellent idea. She’s using what the Nigerian society is presently crazy about- weaves. I wish her the very best success.

Interesting!
How can veezee be a hair model but at the launch her hair is looking rough? Rorbish.
lolz
Was gonna ask why her hair’s tied in the front, yet she’s meant to model the brand. Sophie Gemal is SO fine damn. Veezee too, but this time she no too try with the hair and the top. Still fine regardless…
Wow looks like weaves are not goin out any soon
go out?? hair extension is not a fashion trend na. its like expecting make-up to go out!
They will never “go out” as long as black women don’t learn to appreciate their real hair. I do not mind weaves but I hate when women wear 3 packs of weave, 21 inches weave, and I hate when they put all those nasty hair products that make their hair stink like sh$t.
Good location!
Now that’s one ‘beaury kween’ making her ‘pert’ project a reality! Good one
What kind of name is Qriss?
Is it me or Sylvia does not look fine n she is looking darker…hmmm wish her well with her biz sha
I’m glad for her. She is obviously taking advantage of her present popularity. What she just needs to do is to make sure that she is serious with the business side of things. Good luck in her venture.

YEMSIL – off allen ave, right turn immediately after the 1st bank be4 alade….i go there all the way from Lekki, if ur hair was stubborn she’ll sort, ive had my hair for over 6months no weaves…
Trust an Igbo babe to always lead pack, lolzz (p.s: I’m one too, before y’all bite me). Smart move gurl!
Nice one but the shop really looks scanty
nice.wish her d best.
Hw much is she making,to spent so much on d contest?
And may hair last for ever!
Obviously we need more prayers and Gods intervention to take away dis long hair craze. N hey! Isn’t dat d sophie babe who threatened to take d Bruce brothers to court cos she claimed she paid dem n dey gave sylvia d MBGN crown? Abi twas just gossip magazines havng a field day? N yes I noticed sylvia looks darker. Goodluck to her though
Just what we need, more fake horse hair.
This is a really big success for Sylvia… I don’t know her but I’m proud of her!

“According to Sylvia’s Hair rep, the opening of Sylvia’s Hair Gallery signaled a new dawn in the Nigerian beauty and fashion industry”

Hair, there and everywhere!
veezee your foundation/powder is TOO light for your skin tone. kudos yo Sylvia, i pray she succeeds in the competitive hair business.
Jane Jane long time
Nice effort! That comment about Sylvia being dark and therefore, not looking “fine” is very offensive, but I’m not surprised given that some Nigerians think that being light is equal to beauty no matter how jacked up the person’s features are. Anyways, Sylvia is a pretty female with a lovely shape.
I like weaves, wigs etc.. When it is nicely done. But do Ify, Sylvia Nduka Jane, Veeze, Ishioma & the other women at this event think they look better with these mops on their heads? One thing I have realized is when you give your real hair a chance and get to know it like you know where to find sale, you will never allow just any horse hair sit comfortably on your head. You will carefully pick and wear the mane that makes you look funny.
