There is brand new drama series hitting TV and online screens very soon, it’s called “Gidi Culture“. The producers tell BN, “the drama series is a representation of the Nigerian Youth which draws from many of their real life experiences.” On the cast list are upcoming actors – Toni Tones, Seun Kentebe and Seun Ajayi.

The show’s protagonist, Halima Dan-Ladi Adebayo, is a naïve upper class Nigerian attending graduate school in New York City. When a grave accident occurs in her apartment, Halima’s divorced Mother, Mariam Dan-Ladi, coerces her daughter to return to Nigeria indefinitely and attend the Lagos Business School. Life in Gidi exposes Halima to a whole new world she never knew existed.

Will she ultimately succeed in this challenge of familiarizing herself with Gidi Culture and come to terms with her new reality? Or will she plummet into bad company and fall prey to the enmity amassed by some of Nigeria’s frustrated youth? Only time will tell as life unfolds in “Gidi Culture.”

The series, it shows the lives of several young people from different walks of life as they relate to each other under various climates of prosperity and privation often associated with life in Gidi (Nigeria).

Gidi Culture” is produced by Gidi Culture Productions and will be coming to TV screens in Nigeria soon.

    i have to agree with sonia, therz just something about that Seun Ajayi, crushing already, i think he will be the Gbenro ajibade of tinsel, i love toni tones diction, its really not forced, i cant really wait for the series to start, it seems very promising and who rembers UGO of twilight zone he is playing Friday.

      I totally agree about the Seun guy. That was d first thing dat jumped at me. He’s just very likable, maybe it’s d smile. I think he will go far. Screen love at first sight

    Looks promising except for casting Toni as the lead character. They should have cast a younger person, even the mum looks younger.

    Looks promising indeed! Agree that the mum looks younger than Toni, so some casting issues there. Toni seems like a nice person though.

      There’s something about him. Don’t lose that smile boy. U will go places. Think I remember him from AMBO or Next movie star, one of those 2 acting reality shows.
