Yesterday Sunday 7th April 2013, Nigerian songstress Omawumi held her highly anticipated concert “Omawumi in Concert: The Lasso of Truth” at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Celebrities including DJ Caise, Sasha P, Praiz, Karen Igho, Joseph Benjamin, Kaylah, Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Essence, Anthony Monjaro, Lami Phillips and Yaw were in attendance.
Highlights of the show include a video display of Omawumi’s growing years (From her aspiring music career days till now) and loads of electrifying performances.
Omawumi performed “What a bang bang” with 2Face Idibia, “Warn Yourself” with Wizkid, “Bottom Belle” with the composer of the song and Bob Marley‘s “No Woman No Cry” with Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay and Waje. Other performers of the night were Timaya, Mercy Chinwo and Onyeka Onwenu.

Omawumi’s show saw some of Nigeria’s favourite celebrity couples in attendance.
“Kele Kele Love” singer Tiwa Savage posed for the BN Cam with her fiancé Tee Billz. Tiwa Savage looked simple and radiant in a black leather and cashmere long sleeve top , black pants and black heels. She completed her look with sleek hair, smoky eyes, nude lips and diamond earrings.
Her beau complimented her in a white native attire.
After arriving from their Dubai honeymoon on Friday, music star 2Face Idibia and his wife Annie made their first post wedding appearance at Omawumi’s concert. Although they didn’t pose together for the cameras, they turned heads.
2Face looked sharp in a black suit, white shirt, black tie, black shoes and his signature shades while Annie rocked a white blouse which features lace, black-and-white checkered pants, black shoes and a white handbag.
Photographer/VHS TV presenter Yomi Black and his wife Liz were also at the event. He wore a grey blazer, black shirt, black pants and shoes while Liz dazzled in a purple embellished peplum top and matching skirt. She finished her look with a chic top knot and accessorized with purple earrings and a black clutch.
R&B singer Timi Dakolo and his wife Busola looked uber cute at the concert. Timi wore a white shirt, black pants and black shoes while Busola opted for a girly red number and ivory pumps.
