Osas-Ighodaro-joins-Tinsel-MNet-Africa-Magic-November-2012-BellaNaija005-400x600In celebration of the 1000th episode of M-Net Africa‘s hit soap opera Tinsel, BN Movies & TV will bring exclusively to you fun facts about some of the show’s cast.

We are kicking off with Osas Ighodaro. The Miss Black USA 2010 winner joined the cast in 2012, taking on the role of Adanna – a free spirited art student from the US who travels to Nigeria to find her inspiration. Osas who seems very much a mummy’s girl speaks on her role models, a preferred second occupation and why a certain music icon made her kick in her mom’s womb.

Check it out!

First acting role: My first acting role was a young African girl in my first grade recital/play – “We are the World”

Most embarrassing moment on set: Any kissing/romantic scene I perform in is embarrassing for me, lol.

Role model: My mommy, Oprah Winfrey and Biola Alabi

If not acting, what other profession: A News Anchor/Broadcast Journalist

Favourite musician of all time: This is easy. This musician was my favourite before I was born. My mom played his music when I was still in her womb and apparently I would kick whenever his music came on…………….Michael Jackson.

Fun right? Bet you didn’t know all these.

Keep refreshing BellaNaija.com for more fun facts on Tinsel stars.

To have that “IT” factor means to have that certain intangible, undefinable quality that makes a person catch one’s eyes, a certain charisma that just pops at you and makes you think a person has star quality. It is that quality that sets some people apart from the rest of the world, that thing that makes people turn their head when that person walks into a room – it’s the way the carry themselves, the confidence they exude or even the vulnerability. They just make you conscious that they are SOMEBODY, if they are already and if they are not, they certainly will be in the future. Hope that helps, Brenda:)

Make I tok am before e happen, for all voltrons out there – she asked and I answered o before anyone comes here to say I be ITK etc. People hide behind fence and throw stones here unnecessarily sometimes.

@ Bronx – No, not related to Osas, wish I was make I take make mout small lol. I was not describing Osas, I was giving someone the definition of “IT” factor. The definition could be applied to the likes Genevieve, Rita, Omotola and yes Osas. These women have a certain je na sais quoi.
