It’s That Thin Line Between Best Friends & Lovers! Watch “Unveiling Maeva” – A Production of Cardy Films



Unveiling Maeva is the story of two friends who discover hidden love beneath their long drawn out friendship.  Maeva and Alan, who grew up together and became very close over the years until one fateful night, when Maeva’s feelings unexpectedly come to light. The short film shows the frustrations, the passion, the secrets that lie beneath the veil of “best friends”

With Yana Penrose as Maeva and Kingsley Amadi playing the role of Alan, Unveiling Maeva is filled with tension that cuts through to the viewer. “Unveiling Maeva” was directed by Olan Collardy and Ola Masha. Written and produced by Waiki Harnais.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this.
    Simply story, very well told.
    Very good camera movements, sound was on point and the lighting was impeccable.

    Good reflection of reality. A man and woman that spend a lot of alone time will eventually make out. If they don’t, one of them is suffering for it.
    Check out that atmosphere- who wouldn’t want to……..?

    Nice effort…however subject matter was not effectively conveyed visually, it lacks drama or any suspense…very tiring use of voice over.
