BN Bridal: BellaNaija Weddings at Bridal Fashion Week in New York & “Brides The Show” in London!

Jovani at Bridal Market NYC – emerald second dress inspiration!

BellaNaija Weddings was in London and New York this past weekend for three amazing bridal shows. At Bridal Fashion Week in New York, there was “Bridal Market” and “Couture Show” – the latter organized by The Knot. In London, Brides The Show was organized by Brides Magazine UK.

We attended some designers shows and booths where we saw the Fall 2014 collections first hand, before they hit the bridal boutiques and stores. How exciting! We covered them live from our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts. Are you not following us? You’re missing out!

In this post we have awesome inspiration for wedding dresses, reception gowns, flower arrangements, jewelry and more!

Here are the designers captured at Bridal Market:

Martina Liana: Sweet and elegant designs.

Jovani: A favourite with many brides for the glitz and glam – gorgeous designs and figure hugging dresses.

Miss World Dominican Republic – she met Miss Ghana and Nigeria in Indonesia a few weeks ago!

Eugenia Couture: Based in Philadelphia, the founder is really sweet. She has now handed over the main designer role to her daughter, who’s bringing a fresh approach to the dresses.

Ink also met Nir – the international business manager, Berta is his mother in law, he’s really nice! Saw the collection and exclusive campaign images for 2014 – we can’t share yet but trust us when we say, it was Flawless.

Sara Gabriel: A sweet designer with amazing jewelry!

This necklace is jaw dropping – retails about $500

A headpiece/necklace. Wow!

Sara’s nails are gorgeous bridal inspiration! She bought the stickers from Target.

Jean Ralph Thurin: An upcoming designer based in New Jersey. Love this dress! It reminds us of cake because of the layers.

We also met Kate Pankoke from Project Runway – she designs very pretty gowns and is counting down to her own wedding in November!

Hope she shares her images with us!

Ariel Jennifer Taub: Her veils and bridal accessories stand out for all the right reasons!

You HAVE to watch this video… we were like “Wow”! Don’t underestimate short veils.

Some of these gowns are poorly finished, from the hooks ,zips and fittings at the back abeg, these are not made in Naija we are talking about spending hard currency.

i noticed that also, and for the ladies waiting till their
wedding day b4 they wear a shiny dress – life is too short and full
      of curveballs.

brides of nowadays. I especially love the heavily jewel encrusted
