Dayo chose a dress that suits her body structure…… Niceee

Which begs the question: why is everyone blowing up? I dont diss people that are on the big side, but u guys should totally work on yourselves! 96% of the people there look like they consume raw fat on a daily basis!! Ireti Osayemi and Laide Bakare look like they’r gonna pop at anytime!

and who coloured Ronke Odusanya’s face like that? the brow and all… jeeesox!

nway, Mr. Adeniyi Johnson is totally hot!!!!

@dinky Ronke has two colours on her face naturally one side is fair while the other is dark naturally, so she has to powder her face very well so as to conceal the dark side that is why are face is always looking somehow but for the brow i can’t tell.

Everybody looks good to me jare and Toyin i sight you married has been very fair to you and her husband she looking smashing

    • dinky

      October 30, 2013 at 3:19 pm

Just for the record, being too fat is not acceptable especially if you are an actress except of course u only want the role of “mother”!. These are really talented people and its the same way u’ll tell your friend who is getting married to keep looking good and not become careless just ‘cos she is married.

Laide Bakare is someone I like on screen and Ireti Osayemi is a fantastic actress.

No hating here, just telling the people we care about not to LOSE the “IT”!

PS: Dayo Amusa was my secondary school mate. And no, she wasn’t fat.

    • CarliforniaBawlar

      October 30, 2013 at 6:56 pm

Na lie!! Do you watch yoruba movies??? If the actress likes they can be fat from Lagos to London they would still get casted for roles within their age group…….and as long as the movies make sense….the viewers don’t complain!! Abeg leave them for us like that….lol.
But on a serious note…I don’t get why all yoruba actresses gain so much weight once they reach stardom….although another interesting trend is that some of them have recently lost the weight…e.g. Fathia Balogun, Bukky Wright and Bimbo Oshin…hopefully the trend would catch on with time sha…and in the time being my people…Live and Let Live!!!

Nigerian women eat too much. is it Poverty or what? See how swollen they all look. Jeez

    • Diya

      October 30, 2013 at 6:25 pm

Nigerian men & children also eat like hungry lions.
You cannot even go to some Nigerian events without finding
someone/people trying to start drama because of food. The situation
I hate the most is when some mannerless women “skip the line”- (if
there’s one) because they feel their many children &
spoiled husbands deserve more food. Very shameless & poor
habit that Nigerians have. Nigerians always do too much- it’s a
part of our lifestyle. Wearing too much of everything, eating a
lot(usually carbs), drinking a lot, possessing a lot of material
things, We want to drive the biggest cars and own the biggest
homes. The act of doing too much in our

Ok…i gotta say this. Ladies y’all need to consider a healthy lifestyle that includes some kind of workout regimen. I’m just gonna lay it out there….you’re big, like big. Nothing is wrong with that except there are risk factors over time – forget about just looking good outwards, I mean…… (speechless). Think about it! Walk, drink less (especially not beer), try dancing….or something. But please do something. Ah! and all the extras from amala, rice, iyan….cut it!

Hello lads and ladies, if you are FAT and need to tone up your abs and lose weight, thank me later with this program. The key is your NUTRITION and a step by step approach with your daily training which takes approximately 21 days for your body to respond to the initial changes. Stop flaunting around your big belle and fat’s not good for your health and your future.
Now, should you accept this program, below is a routine that I want you to go into if you are really serious about losing weight and toning up your body. Do it for just 21 days and you will be amazed at your transformation. Enough talking ….Crush that FAT NOW and stay alive.
First thing is first, below are a set of rules. If you can’t follow the rules below then don’t bother trying. It is all or nothing here…..

    1. No alcohol: If you can’t go 30 days without a drink then you aren’t serious about losing weight/toning and this isn’t for you.
    2) No dairy, yes no dairy. Use unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk in place of regular milk.
    3) No fruit juices, no fruit smoothies, no soda, no sports drinks. The previous mentioned all contain tons of sugar which makes you gain weight. Sugar is sugar, doesn’t matter if it comes from fruit or skittles.
    4) You must do 45/1 hr minutes of activity every day. I don’t care if it is a fast walk, jogging, rollerblading, whatever. Get your butt moving. Notice, I said every day.
    5) You drink nothing but water, again nothing but water. If you need a cup of coffee in the morning fine. Other than that nothing but water.
Cardio is to be done as soon as you wake up every morning for 45 mins to an hour on an empty stomach. You don’t have to go to the gym, you can walk around your neighborhood, jog, do an aerobics class on your TV, treadmill etc.
Alternating cardio: if possible I would like you do alternate cardio, meaning one morning if you can get on a treadmill walk at 4mph at around 10% incline then maybe the next morning you ride the bike or StairMaster
Diet: below are the following things you will eat. If it isn’t listed you aren’t eating it.
    1) Breakfast after morning cardio: 1 serving of low sugar cereal or half a cup of oatmeal and 8-10 egg whites – (cut servings in half) 2 table spoons of all natural, no sodium, almond or peanut butter
    2) Mid morning: protein shake with almond milk or water (20 – 25 grams)
    3) lunch: 10 ounces of fish, chicken or ground turkey, 1 cup of steamed broccoli or 8 ounces of asparagus
    4) Second lunch: 4-6 ounces of protein mentioned above, same servings green vegetables. 2 table spoons of all natural no sodium almond butter
    5) Post workout protein shake
    6) dinner: 8-10 ounces of chicken, fish, ground turkey or lean flank steak and 2-3 servings of green vegetables
    7) No food before bed. If you are absolutely dying of starvation then try mixing 1 serving of plain fat free Greek yogurt with 1.5 scoops of chocolate protein powder. Makes great tasting pudding.
    1) Carry a water bottle with you all day and keep refilling. Try to drink 16-20 ounces of water per hour. Water is your new best friend. Staying hydrated kills hunger cravings.
    2) Drink 12 ounces of water before meals, will keep you from over eating
    3) notice other than breakfast; you aren’t eating any Carbs throughout the day that are not green vegetables. Stick to this. If you cheat, you are only letting yourself down.
    4) Do not season foods with salt. Use no sodium seasonings for the meats and fish. For the green vegetables, say if you are making a salad. Stick to low fat vinaigrette’s. Read labels. If it is high in fat or sugar you don’t want it. Absolutely no blue cheese or ranch. Again that is dairy.
    5) Cookies, crackers, protein bars, granola bars…All that crap is no more. If it isn’t mentioned above it isn’t being eaten.
    6) Once a week you may have a cheat meal. Notice I said cheat meal not cheat day!!!!!!!!! Try to have your cheat meal at lunch if possible so your body burns some of it off before bedtime. The worst thing you can do is eat a huge bowl of pasta before bedtime as the body goes right into storage mode.
Sounds crazy huh? Well, nothing good comes easy. Start this, be focused and determined and you will be amazed at your transformation.
In a nutshell, reduce Sodium(salt) intake in all your meals! Your abs will thank you.
Load Up on Fiber to help you feel full from fewer calories, encouraging weight loss.Try these high fiber favorites: spinach, raspberries, pear (with skin), artichoke, peas, apples (with skin), broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and carrots.
Eat Lots Of Lean Protein. It is really important that you are nourishing your body with quality, lean protein which support muscle growth while controlling blood sugar – Good sources of protein include: chicken breast, ground turkey, egg whites, and grilled fish.
Again, stop eating Sugar. Yes, any kind of sugar from any source. Agreed, sugar tastes good, but indulging in it causes your body to store layers of fat. Enjoy fresh fruit, rather than refined sugar. Once you stop eating sugar your body will no longer crave it, so don’t give in to the initial cravings.
Focus on rich fiber cereals…will help you suppress appetite. Make Chicken breasts, fish, especially salmon and turkey, your best friend.
That’s all. Now, go loose that weight and stop carrying FAT around.
Good luck, that’s my Xmas gift to you.

You have made valid pointers. My questions are, the pointers are they for Nigerians in Nigeria? Or for Nigerians living in the western world? Most Nigerians living in Nigeria don’t devour (eat) pasta, they eat (devour) eba aka garri. And vinigari? Yeah, it is good 2 lose weight, better for them.

Yoruba actors and actresses dont really care, cos the more you are big, the more you have the role.i think naturally they like big women lol.but seriosly thier movies are the best, and they are not always on the spot light like thier counterparts who are always the topic of the day.
