Students have to take matters in their own hands by having one massive day of disturbance. The people in government don’t really care their children are schooling abroad (even plus including Ghana).

In “other” to? All this long story to say…? Somebody doesn’t place grammar on a “high” pedestal. A pedestal is already high, what you’re saying is tautology.
Maybe we do need to rethink our institutions if your sentence structure is a product of the teachings.

Be that as it may, she is still right. Seriously though, this anti ASUU strike thing has not been song enough, obviously. If they are still going on strike every per second. It’s unfortunate, not to mention infuriating and a total waste of time for say a medical student to end up studying for 15 years when its a 6 year degree. I don’t know of anyone personally, but I’m sure it happens. That’s just preposterous. For once it will be nice to have something that actually works in Nigeria.

Don’t get me wrong I am furious at the strike, I was pointing out an obvious error. I believe that teachers should have the guarantee of payments and benefits. However, as an aspiring teacher, I wouldn’t want to teach just for the money, and I especially don’t want to deprive other people of the knowledge they deserve. There is a balance that needs to be found. As much as I am an advocate for better conditions for teachers, you cannot hold knowledge to ransom, not at the expense of people who are not blameless in the entire situation.
Are our teachers teaching because they want to, or because they have no choice? What is the process for becoming a gatekeeper of knowledge in Nigeria?

U are so foolish , just look at the message itself and stop criticizing her grammar, i am sure u are one olodo that just managed to discover you can spell is and was.

Ah! If you weren’t so quick to type the first thing that
came into your head then you’d notice that I addressed the issue
she raised. However if you’re going to be an advocate for
something, shouldn’t you at least be a positive representation of
it? ps: If I “managed to discover” that I can spell, at least I
have the good sense to practice it.

Here we go again. All u Nigerians do is talk, talk and talk. Child bride, Aluu 4, plane crashes without any investigation, armored vehicle scandal, kidnappings, I could go on but its pointless. The list is endless. When will u guys rise up and do something about the very pitiable state of affairs in Nigeria. A great country with blessed but spineless people accursed with the worst breed of leaders.
