    Dear BN,

Don’t you think it would be more appropriate to address him with his title in your heading “Governor Rotimi Amaechi”? Instead of “Rotimi Amaechi” like he’s your boy next door. I mean..c’mmon.

@madman …..and that is why a serving governor (public servant) of a third world country with over 90% of the population living on less than a dollar a day should be diplaying such wealth…..abi?

Shuu!! Is it not his money? After making plenty money, make person no come display am again? Should he step out in rags before? Nobody complains when Michelle Obama, Rita Dominic or Yvonne Nelson wears brand names but Amaechi decides to wear one, na now you come remember say him be public servant.

From the comments I can read here, smh, Nigerians we deserve our government.

He looks like he was attacked by a bouquet of flowers. As for Iyabo’s comment, I agree in so far as a public servant should be thoughtful in their dress and should not be so boldy displaying what is most likely stolen wealth; otherwise it sends a wrong and dangerous message. Ever wonder why corruption in this country is never ending? Those not yet in office see the lavish lifestyle that those in office are living and are waiting their turn. Iyabo’s comment is food for thought and not a reason to bash him/her.

We deserve the government we have in Naija! The suit looks like upholstery material….but it’s designer!! Celebration of mediocrity in our rulers by the ruled who should be stoning them and collecting the public funds they use in buying $4000 jackets.

I would have appreciated him more if he had worn a Nigerian designer out fit to the occasion regardless where the money comes from but promoting foreign designer brand by a Nigerian public servant that I beg to disagree!!!
