Seyi Shay is “Taking Over the Music Scene”! See Her in BlackNBold Magazine’s March 2014 Issue

Seyi Shay covers BlackNBold Magazine - February 2014 - BellaNaija - 021

Irawo songstress Seyi Shay is the cover star for BlackNBold Magazine‘s March 2014 issue.

Rocking a custom silk Kimono dress on the cover of the maiden edition of the publication, the singer also looks young and fearless inside the publication.

The magazine shines the spotlight on the rising profile of Seyi. “This edition being our first is special to us, so is Seyi Shay to the Nigerian music scene. Her consistent take over of the entertainment scene is one we are immensely proud of” reveals Publisher, Abiola Orimolade.

Crush on the editorial.

Nice pics, but the 5th image of her in a red jacket and jeans shorts is funny looking and doesn’t look real. It’s like her head was put on another person’s body…

Her body parts don’t look proportional in the third pic. Head too big, arms too small.

Yes! These are seriously the best pics I’ve ever seen of seyi shay, the hair, makeup and dresses are really well put together. Compared to all other mag Covers and Pics, this is the best.

There’s always something weirdly off about this gal…Take that red lace skirt for example….It looks like carpenter’s attempt at tailoring…or is it just me? The red ‘GOWN’ as Femi put it – cos it CANNOT be termed a dress…OMDz…For real?

Love the pic she wore the kimono sitting on the table, the whole setting and background , nice concept, welldone to the creative director and stylist.

There are so many things wrong with this cover; it’s unreal.
Is it ‘Uti Nwachukwu’ they referred to as ‘Uti Nwanchukwu’? And on the cover, too! Was their editor high, or asleep? Or is this the handiwork of someone who just woke up one morning, and decided to ‘start a magazine’?

Not a fan of her music, but the pics are nice.

People should learrn to give constructive criticism not negative comments. Think, talk and Act intellectually.

How to make a beautiful singer ugly.

This is just shoddy work by the awful magazine and the photographer. Not sure why we Africans don’t like calling a SPADE A SPADE. How can anyone look at the picture of her in the shorts and like that pic? Or how can one look at the awful images, compare with what you get from a typical Nigerian magazine and think this is good work?

Everyone involved with this shoot should be FIRED. Blame the magazine more though.

I’ve seen seyi shay in a couple of magazines and on the red carpet and I can categorically say this is the best she has ever looked, how I wish she could look like this always, she is really pretty in person but even her music videos don’t do justice
