Boko Haram Kills 60 in Bar/Brothel in Adamawa

Boko Haram bombed a bar and brothel located near a major military base in Adamawa State today, killing 60.

The attack occurred around 6pm today according to Sahara Reporters.

The bar/brothel is not far from the headquarters of the Special Operations Battalion of the Nigerian army in Mubi. The battalion is at the center of the Nigerian government’s counter-offensive against Boko Haram’s increasingly daring attacks on military and civilian targets. The location of the bombing is usually visited by both civilians and military personnel. 

Military commanders had reportedly warned soldiers on numerous occasions, not to stay at the joint past 4 pm.
