On Monday 26th May 2014, Mi Fone – “The 1st African Mobile Device Brand” and Oju Africa – “The 1st Ethnically diverse emoticons” were launched into the Nigerian market.
The event, which had 150+ guests including, Toke Makinwa, Noble Igwe, Veronica Ebie-Odeka, Chef Eros, Dakore Akande, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Ezinne Chinkata, Latasha Ngwube and more, took place at MILIKI, Victoria Island, Lagos with guests enjoying networking, refreshments and learning about Mi-Fone and Oju Africa.
The presentations on the brand by Alpesh Patel, stated that the Mi Fone and 65 Oju emoticons also touched on the functions and services of the mobile services as well a short summary of the company’s journey through the African market.
Aplesh also stated that the Oju emoticons are currently available on all Android phones and would soon be introduced to IOS.
