2 Year Old Girl Contracts Ebola Virus in Mali
This is truly heartbreaking.
Mali’s health ministry on Friday in Bamako confirmed a case of Ebola virus in a two-year old girl, NAN reports.
The ministry said this was coming weeks after Mali has so far been cleared of the disease.
It said the girl, who had arrived from neighbouring Guinea, was taken to a hospital in the western city of Kayes with possible symptoms on Wednesday, and was confirmed to have Ebola the following day.
The ministry assured that people who had contact with the girl have been identified and authorities were taking the necessary measures.

Quite sad. We pray for their Health Team to get this right and save their country of the heart aches and panic that the ruthless ebola virus can inflict on people. The fear alone is devastating;talkless of the real deal.

The story lacks vital info, where are the parents of the child, did they come together? why is this being allowed to happen, we have the richest of the people on earth donating to Ebola, so where are the vaccinations? Are we going to allow this epidemic to wipe our future out? I am not ok with this story at all!
