D’Banj is hitting the industry with big jams right now. Let them say what ever they like. This is not shoki or skelewu. Needs to make a new invention.

LOL I don’t understand nigerians, how can someone be asking of music career when you are signing international deals and making big moves. for me he is by far the biggest artist to come out of nigeria. His zeal and moves to become successful is just unbelievable . I respect his hustle alot. for me he is a living legend

You can’t be in the music game forever. For example king 2face has slowed down musically but you won’t hear people hating on him like they hate on d’banj. He might be done with music but he is the real boss in the industry,Tell me how many artist that is bigger than d’banj in the industry.

dbanj has no talent, his only talent is marketing. which is why he keeps jumping into everything and looking for ways to make money through marketing himself

I don’t like d’banj but AH did you say he has no talent? i can’t believe i am hearing this from a Nigerian. 10 frekn years in the industry and no talent? You gotta be kidding

apparently, you’ve quite a talent in writing statements without meaning: “dbanj has NO TALENT, his ONLY TALENT is marketing…”. Utter rubbish!!!!

Nigerians!!! Y’all put the band in the bandwagon. SMDH!!! Wasn’t it on this same blog that y’all were dissing him for his “omini” phrase just a little while ago? Now that he’s signed an international endorsement deal, y’all are fighting for spots on his butt cheeks to kiss it.

    • Kpekere

      October 10, 2014 at 11:09 pm

Two different situations. #Omini song was an utter failure, but as a true EJANLA, he came back with a 2 hit combo:
      – Fantastic collabo with Akon (Song of the year)
      – Endorsement deal with Beats by Dre

as far as I’m concerned, BangaLee na boss raised to the power of 10. Songs have been so-so but business and marketing has been on a different level. He has no equal in the entertainment industry in Africa. Infact, he don dey graduate enter Mogul level.

Dbanj was never talented in the singing, lyrics department. But he sure made up for it as an entertainer.

Now it seems he has realized he needs to find other ways to make money cos pple have realized his lack of talent. He has now ventured into business aspect which is awesome.

Now i just hope all these deals he is getting translates into more money in his pocket, not just “I belong to yankee things” We all know how that worked out with kanye.

It’s so funny how loads of folks try to attache to yankee crowd and end up kissing asses of folks they are more successful than.

if AFRICANS IN AFRICA refuse to buy it. a lot of africans abroad and even other nation citizens will buy it. it comes down to the fact that its still and headphone and people love buying beats by dre. To be honest this is one of the best gold chrome beats has also made so i think it will sell big, talking business wise now.
