Ex Bayelsa Governor Alamieyeseigha’s 24 Year Old Son Dies in Dubai | Pres. Jonathan Commiserates

News of the death of former Governor of Bayelsa State Diepreye Alamieyeseigha’s son has left many in shock.

Oyoms Alamieyeseigha, who is the second to the last son of the ex governor, passed away in Dubai, Punch reports.

It is unclear how he died. Some reports allege that he committed suicide in his father’s house in Dubai, while others say he was murdered at a different location.

President Goodluck Jonathan in a statement, expressed his condolences to Alamieyeseigha, and has promised to help find out the cause of the death:

On behalf of his family and the Federal Government, Jonathan extends heartfelt condolences to Oyamuyefa’s father, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha and his entire family on the untimely loss of a very dear son in the prime of his life.

The President and the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, share their pain and grief over the death of Oyamuyefa in circumstances that are still unclear.

Jonathan assures Chief Alamieyeseigha and his family of the full support of the Federal Government as they strive to unravel the true circumstances of the young man’s death.

He prays that God Almighty will receive Oyamuyefa’s soul and comfort his grieving parents and siblings.’’

This case is reminiscent of Aisha Falode‘s 19-year-old son Toba, a.k.a Tyler Fray, who died in Dubai under suspicious circumstances.

Hopefully, justice will be served in Alamieyeseigha and Falode’s cases soon.

Now that the Son of a fellow thief has been murdered, the President is promising to do something about it. What did he do when Aisha Falode’s Son died? How about the Chibok school girls and other Nigerians facing degrading situations inside and outside our shores? What is our mediocre presido going to do about them?

My own is that if Jonathan is committing our country’s resources to support this man, he better be prepared to commit equal amount of resources to support Aisha Falode.

If this man had put in the work to make his state a better place, Maybe his son won’t have resorted to living outside the country.

If this man did not steal all that money, he won’t have bought property in dubai for his son to be killed in.

All these politicians sha remember diaris God oh. Remember the sins of the father shall visit the son. Its sad to lose a loved one, hopefully politicians will learn to stop killing other pples loved ones by stealing money instead of providing security, good roads, health care, etc.
