Akinwumi Ambode has won the Lagos State All Progressives Congress, APC.

Ambode, 51, is a public finance management expert and accountant.

He is said to have defeated prominent candidates including Tayo Ayinde, former Attorney-General, Olasupo Shasore, former Commissioner for Special Duties; Leke Pitan,  Commissioner for Health, and others to win the ticket.
