Champion! Serena Williams wins the 2015 Australian Open

She is such an inspiration!
Serena Williams defeated Maria Sharapova today to win the 2015 Australian Open.

The win solidifies Serena’s place on the tennis legend’s list as she has now edged past Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert with a 19th career Grand Slam singles title.

The 33 year old world number one defeated Maria Sharapova with an emphatic 6-3 7-6 (7-5) 2 set win.
