as we start to scroll down from seeing the beautiful pics of amber rose (who surprisingly dressed classy), our eyes are shocked as we just land on sharon’s boob pictures. Catastrophic! and it goes downhill from there. one ratchet picture after the other. lmao!

    • Leah

      February 1, 2015 at 8:22 pm

My dear ‘what is going on?’ was exactly my first reaction. Looks like they had a cook out at the ghetto and every hoodrat showed up. Did anyone else notice the legs on these women? It looks like they were nailed together by the same carpenter.

      February 1, 2015 at 9:54 pm

Like seriously o! Annoying dresses and all, ladies putting their humongous bellies on display. OK we get it, not everyone would have flat bellies but atleast wear what fits your body structure nah…gosh!
Got a few good looking people there though.

You read my mind. They have this ombre thing going on with the skin complexion. Yellow from the face and then slowly fades to black. Naija!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      February 2, 2015 at 5:46 am

YOU HAVE JUST KILLED ME WITH THIS COMMENT! Dbanj sure attracted some ratchetness! Amber Rose has proved she is a beauty. Even with bad lighting and heat she still stood out!

Before the bashing begins, lets remember the article that was published here on BN about hiring stylists in Nigeria and the cost implications

    • concerned

      February 1, 2015 at 7:37 pm

If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen. After all, no be by force to attend DBanj’s party. For most of these women, a simple black dress and a pair of nice shoes (not even heels) would’ve been fine (giving the side eye to Sharon and Maureen). Did they need a stylist and an army of make up people to tell them this?

    • bruno

      February 1, 2015 at 7:45 pm

learn to be creative. stop recycling my old comments. “if u can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen” really boo? I wrote those same words under the article about redcarpet stylists.
nigerians are the least creative folks in the world.

Bruno, and since then did “if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen” become a quote from you? That you used it on a post, doesn’t mean it originated from you. Please take a back seat.

    • ATL's finest

      February 2, 2015 at 3:53 am

I have come to the conclusion that Nigerians look their best in their traditional attires. They fail woefully trying to look like Pharrell, Rih, Beyonce, Kim K & the rest.

Congrats to D’Banj but he looks like a Cameroonian & Makossa musician.

No one looks nice in these photos sha. I usually dont like the way Amber Rose usually dresses but she looks the best. A simple black dress, healthy looking skin, real hair & clean makeup. Most of the other women look like drag Queens, ghost like complexions, & some have to wear what will flatter their belle. Amber Rose is a thick girl who works out. Her waist is small & tummy is flat so she takes care of her body. The thick women in these photos trying to compete don’t seem to get that one. It looks like the girls were trying to compete with the former stripper so they ended up looking like how she presents herself on social media. She came out looking classier.
The men look horrendous wearing ill fitted skinny jeans, Efe showing breasts & belly button (lol), & that man with a small head wearing the Pharrell/Erykah Babu hat…. In fact, everyone looks bad in the photos.

Wow! This is really really poor. Loads of ladies have a false image of how their bodies really look. How can you wear a crop top with a protruding belly? Expose flabby breasts? Sometimes we don’t know how much these ‘celeb’ lifestyles affect us, I doubt a lot of people would have dressed the way they did if Amber Rose wasn’t there. So many women wearing crop tops when their bellies are big! I always say it’s best to dress for the body you have.. Not for the body you wish you had! Had to question is they are pregnant. I mean can’t you look in the mirror after you’ve dressed up to check if the outfit is flattering? Or is it by force?? It’s as if someone said the only way to be fashionable is to wear skimpy clothes that don’t flatter your shape. Very disappointing…. And the guy with the horrible pharrel Williams hat? No no no!

Plus that all over- the place – fake – chanel brooch is all over the the place…, yea, literarily and pls focus your energy on keeping your account healthy instead of trying to designer-show.

and who is that boy in that skimpy red sequined dress with tear-tear on the sides? Another came there with her black lace night wear- pls save it for your wedding night!

Best dressed female was Mrs Dozie!. Simple – Classy – Graceful.

As much as I wish Dbanj well, I guess most of those invited were giving free pass at the gate… can’t just believe his people had prior knowledge of their invitation to such an occasion.

Up side of looking at this- everyone was so excited coming out for D’Banj. They really did not care what they looked like.

This strengthens my belief that Nigerians are very confident people. How can you leave your houses looking so horrible and allow your pictures to be happily taken (posing, smiling and showing off flat bums, big tummies, boobs etc) by the paps?

I think Leslie Okoye was the best looking. Simplicity.

Adesua Dozie’s hair should have been packed to see the full beauty of her dress.

I can’t believe what i just saw, oh my God! Who are these people, hootrats? The first ratchety picture was a disaster, scrolling down to the next didn’t help matters either. Holy shit!
Why are these skin bleaching women exposing their multicolored bodies with beer bellies and annoying flip flop boobies for heaven sake? So much ratchetness here, I am very disappointed.

No doubts the dudes did better than the ladies. Orezi and Efe Tommy are so on point.
Our ladies wore rags and presented themselves in a ratchety outlook.
