Lagos Court Dismisses Agbaje’s Petition Against Ambode Concerning 2015 Governorship Elections

After the conclusion of the 2015 Lagos governorship elections, PDP candidate, Jimi Agbaje petitioned the election, tribunal challenging the declaration of APC candidate Akinwunmi Ambode, as the winner of the elections.

However, the Lagos state governorship election tribunal sitting in Ikeja, on Wednesday dismissed the petition, PM News reports.

According to the report, “the three-man tribunal led by Justice Muhammad Sirajo Wednesday upheld the preliminary objection raised by Wole Olanipekun that the petition was incompetent.”
