Don’t you just love Ghanaian designs?

Womenswear fashion house, Mina Evans is here with a brand new collection that is sure to be a crowd favourite. Already shown at Alta Roma in collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Initiative and Glitz Fashion Week in November 2014, the collection has every aesthetic element that will make it a fab addition to your closet. (Click here if you missed her showcasing alongside Lisa Folawiyo, Duaba Serwa and more)

It features geometric silhouettes made from hand-dyed batik sun cloth. The collection also introduces a new design detail  ombrè chiffon strips and signature Mina Evans fringe detailing and subtle beading.

The pieces mix a subtle, yet prominent, African ambiance with fitting silhouettes that portray African culture, mass-appeal and feminism. See more pieces below:

I can’t see the clothes. All I can see are the model’s toes free-falling over the shoes. How could they let this happen? Was accurate shoe size not mandated?

It is called hardwork and spending of money dt was expressed in various colours n designs of fabrics dt became clothes… @.aka. Learn to apreciate efforts or quietly move on if it’s not ur thing..

Since Mina Evans launched her brand I am yet to be blown away by any of her designs, her collections are easily forgotten not memorable. Its more like tailoring she is doing not design, I think she needs to head back to the drawing board, Just like before we hailed previous ghanaian designers, like Christie brown, Duaba serwa and now the limelight is now on Pistis. I wonder which client group are ordering these incoherent collection from Mina Evans.

1, why is the models feet taking over the collection, every image all i see is feet.

2 the shoes also looks dirty

    3, very boring collection

Because you are looking for a fault. And before you reply so angrily try and see the good in everything. 🙂
