List of Contracts Awarded Under Fashola’s Administration Removed from State Procurement Website

Fashola in Blue

The Lagos State Government appears to have removed the list of contracts awarded under the administration of former Governor Babatunde Fashola from the state’s Public Procurement Agency (PPA) website.

The removal comes shortly after the controversy surrounding the alleged N78.3 million rumoured to have been spent on Fashola’s personal website, and the public backlash that occurred after it was reported that N139 million was spent on the drilling of two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja.

Punch reports that the section which lists all the contracts awarded under Fashola’s administration between 2013 and 2014 can no longer be accessed.

The publication also recalls that the PPA website was inaugurated by Fashola on July 15, 2013, and that the ex governor emphasized that the website is aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency, accountability and value for money in the area of public procurement.

Fashola should be probed, Im all about accountability. However, nobody and nothing will take the fact that he’s one of the genuine and best leaders nigeria has. His heart for Nigeria and Lagos is in the right place. . Is he perfect? No could he have been a better gov? Of course, there’s always room for growth and improvement of yourself. But still better than all these leaders, better than most naija men and women in general. Many of those commenting calling him corrupt will be worst if they get small taste of power.

Fashola, please prepare to write more open letters because someone is trying to hide the “good work” you did in Lagos.
Overrated Governor…dance to the music..this is just the beginning because what goes around comes around.

Ambode is only playing Tinubu’s script and he’s merely telling the world how dumb he is.

I love Fashola and stil lthink he is an excellent administrator. Ambode’s energies seemed to be directed at the past govt. Hopefully, he Ambode’s govt will be moving Lagos forward with fixing the roads that were not addressed, putting in all the infrastructure that still needs to be done to make Lagos even greater than it is. That need s focus. Oga, make sure you don’t become like Wike and turn the story of Lagos into a “I must drag the last governor down”. If there are malpractices, address them but keep you eyes on what next you have to do to make Lagos an example of excellence

A thief is a thief, is a thief, is a thief. There is no other name for it. Fashola is a thief. It does not matter if you build roads or provide good leadership, the moment you dip your hands into the till to steal the people’s commonwealth, na jail get you. I fail to understand the macabre dance and all the nonsense about Fashola being a good Gov’. Wasn’t that what he signed up for? When he asked to serve the people, was it to be a bad leader? Apart from the fact that Fashola’s achievements are all hyped, l say the man must answer to all the insidious things he did while in office. We cannot keep shouting change when we become selective when it comes to naming and shaming.

Oga Fashola, pls. step forward and tell us how you spent Lagos state money. All thieves must go to jail. It does not matter whether they are Buhari’s “big friends” or the ordinary man on the street.

In 4 years, we shall ask same of the Dullard.

Call a spade, a spade and not a shovel.

Has he stolen? He should face the long arm of the law.

I am amazed how no one is talking about Fowler, former LIRS former boss, who stole over 40B naira.

There’s no room for selective prosecution, no one is above the law.
