Temitope Ogundeji of the natural hair vlog – NaturallyTemi, just might be our new favourite beauty vlog to watch.

We love the fact that the natural hair community is a sharing & caring one; so to get you some insight on a quick and easy way to get a braid out, we have Temi with a great 8-minute video.

She shares how to get your hair to a fabulous-looking braid out from start to finish, while dropping little tips along the way. And in the end you get a look very much like this…

I’m just curious as to why anyone will choose to apply black on their lips?

The same reason people wear red/pink/purple lipsticks, and apply green/yellow/blue eye shadow on their lids! Once the trend picks up, it will look absolutely normal.. I remember thinking I could never wear red lipstick outside my house.

Why so immature. Just because she isn’t gorgeous to you, doesn’t mean someone who thinks she is is lying. And yes, this woman is beyond gorgeous to me. Her hair, face, skin, bone structure is more than gorgeous!

    Lovely!!!!Well done @naturallytemi

This life ehn, all those talking about her lips….biko, what is your own??Watch video and move on…are the lips yours?? how is it affecting your life or removing money from your bank account. She used black lipstick because she likes it; what makes you a judge over her life that questions that decision? I am sure if she wore a red, purple or any other lip colour, una still go talk.

So I’ve transitioned from relaxed hair to texturised hair “texlax” , still haven’t found the courage to do the big chop, perhaps will do so on my 50th bday.
Till then I’ve got so much love and admiration for all them team natural.

Wow, her hair is not breaking at all! Even with the brushing, mine will just be cutting like anything. Please what is the cure to hair breakage?

Hey Treasure! You should try to figure out what your hair likes and doesn’t like first. Basically, have a good understanding of your hair. Usually hair breakage is caused by lack of moisture. Look for some deep conditioners and treat your hair. Look for brushes that will not tug and pull on it too. Also, use pomades (that does not have mineral oil/ petroleum) and an oil that will seal the moisture. Also, drink lots of water 🙂 hope that helps. Natural hair is trial and error loll
