General Overseer of Household of God Church, Chris Okotie, on Sunday said Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) president, Ayo Oritsejafor, fooled President Goodluck Jonathan into thinking he would win the 2015 presidential elections die to false prophecy.

According to Daily Post, Okotie expressed this viewpoint on Sunday during a sermon. He also stated that many CAN members knew the prophecy was false but were scared to speak out.

Here are excerpts from his statements:

“The man (Jonathan) became convinced to contest after Oritsejafor had told him, using CAN’s name, that God had ordained him the winner of the 2015 presidential election…

They couldn’t speak out because they were scared of being insulted. They were scared of being insulted for saying rubbish.

They were scared of being insulted on the pages of newspapers. So, while I continued to write and speak that Jonathan was not the man, those of them who knew the truth in what I was saying chose to keep quiet out of fear.

I told CAN and PFN that Jonathan was not of God; that whosoever would win would be one that had built a tabernacle in the presence of God.

I told CAN and PFN that Jonathan did not belong to the House of David and that since he did not belong to the household, his winning would bring more sorrow to Nigeria…”

If Goodluck Jonathan, an entire president of an entire country, the largest country in Africa, was allowing some yeye pastor’s prophecy define any element of his presidency, up to and including his re-election campaign, then we are well rid of him. Which tabernacle did Buhari build? Is Buhari one of the “House of David”? Which House of David? Nigeria why do we always come with this nonsense??

Pots. Kettles. Black. Maybe he’s jealous because he didn’t enjoy all the perks Oritsejafor enjoyed when Jonathan was there.

Hmmm even if Oritsejafors prophecy didnt come to pass, the person who should understand better is Okotie cos he has prophesied so many things that never came to pass. Twice he said that God told him that he will win election, hmm I was even at one of his campaigns cos it was held in front of my office, I went to see the pretty lady he was married to then, he was gallivanting how she will be d first lady o. As he no come win d election, he chase d pretty face out of his house and now he is pointing fingers. All the same, calling a man of God names is not wise, let God be the Judge. Besides he said he was going to tell us why he chased her away in 2015, we didnt forget that sir, just like we are waiting for COZA pastor to tell us what happened with that Edo chick.

Please can someone help to tell Chris Okotie what the Bible says in Luke 6:41-42 “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.”

Being a pastor is about preaching the kingdom of God and His righteousness and not show business and preying on the “flesh of the flock” and seeking attention through dubious and hypocritical grandstanding on political issues. Please feed and not fleece the flock of God.

Oga but you too you’re giving us fake prophecies.

“I told CAN and PFN that Jonathan was not of God; that whosoever would win would be one that had built a tabernacle in the presence of God.”

How many tabernacles did Buhari build?
