    The law is very clear!

You cannot deprive a person from being appointed a minister based on a purported indictment which is being challenged in court.

There is no moral burden on buhari at all!

When the court decides then there could be a moral burden to retain him or otherwise.

Congrats to Amaechi Jared. Pdp had no case since ministers don’t have immunity so if he is found guilty of any crime later he can be removed and persecuted. Pdp is full of sore losers sha. they should remember how they went ahead to approve Obanikoro as minister then despite the many allegations against him been involved in rigging elections in Ekiti( there was even a tape) Also most of those senators themselves have cases in the court , does that mean they also shouldn’t be senators till the cases are concluded?

Abeg, where did you get your law degree? Oluwole U? LMAO!

Seriously, the law (the constitution says nothing about “indictment” wrt Ministers. All it requires is Senate confirmation of the President’s nomination. But since the constitution does not specify what the nomination process would consist of, the Senate can pretty much make up any criteria that it desires.

APC has finally succumbed to corruption! Why Amaechi? Is it because he stole states funds to fund Buhari?????

So the Oduah, Dariye, Kashamu etc are saint from heaven. if we should go by their stand then Akpabio should step aside till he is cleared , Saraki should step down also. Obanikoro was cleared in the last senate amidst allegation against him of his involvement in Ekiti rigging so what are we saying???

Some of those ministers who did not pay taxes are they also part of men of integrity he sought for since May 29th?

How does some of these men clean PDP mess when they are indeed filthier?

All I know is get into action and don’t wait till 2016 to give them portfolio. Time is of essence, only 3 and half years left!

How could the Senate confirm Mr Shittu from Oyo State?
How????? He seemed like a religious fanatic and refused to condemn Boko Haram (because he has a family to protect) . Really? As a Minister of this country, you can’t condemn that sect?

He also believes Pastors, Imam and other clerics should be put on the payroll. What an airhead. When everyone is complaining about the wage bill n recurrent expenditure.

    I give up.

That Shittu is the worst! Very scary like a bomber.
Buhari and his choices, may be is the reason he compensated with a pastor.

You have yo call him a Book Haram member just because he is a Muslim. Oshi Radara

Do you read well at all? Nobody called him a ‘book haram’ member here and you even raised dust with religion “because he is a muslim”. People like you are one of the reasons Nigeria can’t move forward.
Liberia faced with the ebola virus epidemic, the country’s president announced to her cabinet that any of them that leaves the country or relocates their families should do so, quitting their jobs. Fact – A man who isn’t bold or courageous enough to condemn boko haram isn’t fit as a minister of The Federal Republic of Nigeria. Period!

I’m tired of how political appointments are been recycled by same people, since my days in secondary school(over 10yrs ago) Amaechi has been holding one political office or the other, I just wish i’ll wake up one day and realise all these people stealing our money and making the masses suffer have all disappeared. *sigh*

    October 30, 2015 at 8:41 am

I agree with you totally. Anyone who isn’t bold enough to condemn Boko Haram isn’t fit to be a minister of this country. isn’t fit to be a public office holder in any form or capacity in fact
