Faleke Chooses Abubakar Audu’s Son as Running Mate

James Falake with Late Abubalar Audu

James Faleke, running mate to projected winner of Kogi State governorship elections late Abubakar Audu, has picked Audu’s son, Mohammed Audu, as his new running mate.

Audu and Faleke were in the lead in the initial polls before the former’s death on November 22.

Mohammed was initially chosen to take his father’s place but was replaced with Yahaya Bello at the last minute.

However, Faleke has rejected the APC’s Bello’s nomination, saying that he is the rightful governor of the state.

Wo, that is not as serious as the new gist trending, that Saraki shared in the national security budget stolen by Dasuki and was given N5billion to keep quiet. The money is ACTUALLY mainly being used to continue to fund boko haram(even though it was allocated to fight against BH and kit our military men). So it looks like there is more to the feathers of Saraki’s convoluted mind. Stealing, murder, document forgery, corruption and it goes on. AND he remains the country’s chief lawmaker. Does this not define the exact reason Nigeria will
remain regressive? I have been saying this and will continue to say this, SARAKI staying as SP is a strong signal that NIGERIA is doomed. The man carrying the torch of law is in fact Anti-Law. He embodies everything we are struggling against. SARAKI must go! Or all our struggles will remain a joke!

Wale – the figure being touted around is 250 million naira. Nothing surprises me with that man. He’s a modern day Machiavelli. Why do you think he wants to stay in power forever? So he can manipulate the law, bamboozle his way, pervert the course of justice all in a bid to cover his tracks. He didn’t start today. Sickening. All these politicians think about is self!

And faleke was a lagos state politician, then tinubu moved him to Kogi state so that he would have every state in Nigeria covered with APC.. Besides how did Audu die, I heard he had a party with APC party members Including Tinubu who was present at the party, afterEating and partying he went home and suddenly became weak, then he was given a blood transfusion that night, the next day he went to his home town to vote on getting home became very weak and another blood transfusion was given, he was getting better then when the results were announced Inconclusive because 91 polling units couldn’t vote.. he Slumped due to shock and had blood gushing from his mouth..
NOW, they have projected his son so that Bello wouldn’t be part of the election, and FALEKE who is TINUBU boy would win.
Concerning, Audu younger wife, the one he wanted to marry who was/still a student of Uni port.. what would happen to all her Expectation.. Hmmmmm

He’s been sick for a while now, and his sudden death after being announced the winner is a coincidence. It has nothing to do with whatever superstition theory Nigerians are coming up with.
And he shouldn’t have even contested at all.

Nigerians please do not fail your children. Really? So government office is now hereditary? Tomorrow we will be the same ones crying about bad leaders yet we continue to allow children to inherit the public offices of their parents.

Also please, isn’t Mohammed Audu related to the accused rapist Mustapha Audu? We have really really walked away from good common sense. Show me your family and I know almost everything I need to know about you #ThatIsAllIHaveToSay

Bella Nigeria please do not join the bad government. Remember what journalism is supposed to be about. Your publication is more of a lifestyle magazine but still …. it is one of the few good things we Nigerians have to be proud of – #SadButTrue.

So PLEASE WE BEG YOU IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS GOOD … stop policing your comments section. Let the people’s voices be heard UNFILTERED. If any public official – or his/her offspring – is offended by the comments then he/she should answer to the people. Think of how much power YOUR PUBLICATION actually has. You can help save us.

BN, they’re APC and PDP themselves. Everyone talks about corruption, but even in the smallest places it still takes place. On this blog, you post a comment, BN will approve, later they take it off. You post a comment about a celebrity or someone they like, the will not approve or they do and later delete. Corruption exists in every arm of government, among individuals, even on this so called blog.

Do we pick officials by merit or by sympathy?

I agree with everything but the statement, “show me who you are, and I will tell you who your family is” doesn’t always apply bcos some kids are just bad, and some parent are also just bad and it’s an individual bad behavior.

Why choose a novist with zero governing experience to assist you with the running of the affairs of the state government. A man with no political aspirations to be your running mate? Na wa ooooooo. Isn’t this crazy? No wonder the entire political system in Nigeria is upside down. First Ekiti state elected a danfo driver as their governor now this thief in waiting as the deputy governor? The only thing they got right is how ugly things will quickly get in the state capital judging from the looks of both the governor and his deputy. The state should state a competition to choose between the two ugly guys who to represent them at the ugly Olympic somewhere next year.

    Jesus, please keep me.
“Faleke has rejected the APC’s Bello’s nomination, saying that he is the rightful governor of the state.”
That statement has got me boiling. Like what the heck? Mr. Faleke, if you were the rightful governor, INEC wouldn’t have approved a new election. Abi, politician ko ni yin ni? You don’t know the law again or you just feel like making your own rules as we proceed? Reject from now until kingdom come if you like, the will of God over Kogi state and this nation will be done in Jesus name!!!!!! #Jesuleke

@Jade, I agree with you that ““show me who you are, and I will tell you who your family is” doesn’t always apply because some kids are just bad, and some parent are also just bad and it’s an individual bad behavior.” That is why I added the qualifier ” Show me your family and I know ALMOST ALL I need to know about you.”

We are on the same page. my sister.

I try not to speak ill of the dead, but if Nigeria was a country where things worked (and agencies like the EFCC did its job), Audu would have died in jail…
