#WomanCrushEveryday! 5 Beauty Shots of Genevieve Nnaji We Can’t Get Enough Of

Published

 on

Genevieve Nnaji is one Nollywood star we can’t seem to get enough of, and we hereby dub her our #WomanCrushEveryday!

While making press rounds for her new movie with British/Nigerian actor Oris Erhuero – “Road to Yesterday“, the stunning star has been giving us some major beauty inspiration.

With makeup by the talented Jane of MUD and Dodos Uvieghara of D’Artiste by Dodos, we’ve seen some of Genevieve’s greatest beauty shots – and we are totally obsessed (in Kim Kardashian-West’s voice).

So today, as we dub her our #WomanCrushEveryday, here are 5 beauty shots that make us love Genny even more!

***

1. The Gen Doll

Genevieve Nnaji Makeup - BellaNaija - November2015

This picture perfect shot of Genevieve is so pretty.

With makeup by Jane of MUD, we get to see a close up look at Genevieve in all her made-up glory. Her makeup features glossy pink lips that go perfectly with her top, emerald green eyes with a little shimmer and a bronzed face. Great job Jane.

2. Vintage Allure

Genevieve Nnaji Makeup - BellaNaija - November2015001

No matter the angle, Genny looks fab! Jane highlighted her high cheekbones and gave Genny long flirty lashes and a plum lip that we’re loving.

3. No Makeup, No Problem

Genevieve Nnaji Makeup - BellaNaija - November2015007

She’s never be scared to go simple. We love this laid-back look with Genny in braids, and a simple t-shirt. Although she’s not totally without makeup – we spot lightly glossed lips, filled eyebrows and some eyeliner.

4. The Stunner

Genevieve Nnaji Makeup - BellaNaija - November2015003

Now this is a beautiful photo! Here we spot Genevieve in makeup by Dodos of D’Artiste by Dodos which features pink ombré lips and statement eyes.

5. The Lovely Lady

Genevieve Nnaji Makeup - BellaNaija - November2015004

This may be the last one but definitely not the least. For another press screening for her new movie, Genevieve went for a soft makeup look created by Dodos paired with a fun and flirty dress.

We know y’all lover her too – so sound off. Which makeup look is your fave?

Genevieve is a beautiful woman, her facial features is pretty. Omotola and Genevieve are friends in real life and I’m sure they are laughing at these jobless people always comparing them.

    • Dunni

      December 2, 2015 at 7:33 pm

They are not friends in real life. They are just cordial to each other. omotola obviously doesn’t like genny and you can tell from the subtle diss on genevieve in the car interview she did with vivian ekwerre. It’s usually the lesser of the two that does the hating. Go figure!

    • Jade

      December 3, 2015 at 6:08 am

      @Dunni

What do you mean by the lesser of the two? Omotola is just as beautiful, if not more in my opinion and talented. Maybe the rumors of Genny being difficult co star to work with, full of herself is true. Their Nollywood colleagues speak highly of Omotola, can’t say the same for Genny.

Some peeps are just hexed over this lady. Why would someone always bring in Omotola whenever Genevieve is being talked about? Can’t we do without this useless competition with tribes? Both of them could be friends for all you care. Omotola can do her own thing while Genny does hers and the world will move on. There are many amazons in the US and nobody is breaking bones.

    • Nope

      December 2, 2015 at 1:32 pm

You try to bring genny down and raise omotola up but it’s not going to happen because genny’s shine is natural and effortless while omotola is manufactured and forced. Go and read the response I gave you on this article you copied. That’s why no matter what she does, Genny will always be above her.. and omotola will continue to play catch up and the likes of you will forever remain bitter.

    • Clarins

      December 2, 2015 at 1:42 pm

@Nope – You are doing exactly what you’re preaching against. You’re really daft. Omotola is by no way playing catch up. You know who is. How can someone who is that secure and totally made be playing catch up ? On what? To whom? Stop it . You sound dellusional.

    • gafar

      December 2, 2015 at 1:45 pm

unfortunately with your reply u just made “yup’s ” day. u had to bring omotola down. you should have just let it slide.

Nope aka Gene’s PR team, welcome ma. Hope you’ve replied all other posts, not just this one.
We are all entitled to our personal opinions and very free to express them.
Btw, this has nada to do with tribe (if it were I should be pitching tent with Gene) so miss me with all that.

You better calm your hateful nerves down. Talking about bitterness meanwhile its oozing all over ur comment. Omotola is loved same way genny is. Talking abt omotola”s shine is manufactured and yet to expire after 20years? abi manufactured product no dey expire? what does that tell you.? and you were talking about omotola no movie roles. if u dnt shut it! fact is her brand is her higher than movies produced now, u are acting like genny was called for a movie role because she has a recent movie like omotola cant decide to produce a movie and act in it too. She has worked her ass out for 20 years and can decide to use her fame and brand to branch into humanitarian works. whats the purpose of acting or working? Is it to work hard till u retire and sit down at home? she can use her brand as omotola to vent into anything. She worked hard for that name to become a brand. Deal with it.

      Genevive is so overrated…….my opinion.

    • Surely

      December 3, 2015 at 3:47 am

but Omotola was courting as a child and married immediately after. She’s still with her husband for wanting her because she was untouched.

    December 2, 2015 at 2:05 pm

i love omosexy…i really do…when u see how beautiful she was in her very first films…then she disappeared and came back with the bleached body…i threw my hands up in the air…over the years i bet she stopped and is now toning….but…issh. i still love her heart though…its not helping matters when her hubby…mr captain is on the creammy crack tooo…omosexy tell ya pa to just stop…. now genny has been consistent…black beauty oyeeeee…love her beauty…and a little mystery too surrounding her…

    • Nneka

      December 2, 2015 at 3:05 pm

It will interest you and your team to know that when you are fair you can get fairer with better management and drinking lots of water. Lol, this is the new angle you came back with? Since you wanna go there. Omotola has a hubby and a capt’s for that matter where’s yours? *coughs* oh their wives are praying well nnugo? You know Omotola’s skin is flawless seen her knees and knuckles ? See how clean? That’s how you know someone whose fair naturally. Can’t say that of black girls who we know have tried several times to get fair . Even though it’s their choice not our business?

    • brizola

      December 2, 2015 at 5:02 pm

Ode since when did having a hubby become an achievement? A hubby that bleaches ? Genny is queen effortlessly? Don’t you get what class is? Omosexy and class can never be used in the same sentence. For your information, her claim to fame is being married with four kids at a young age. Not everyone must be married to be deemed complete. So save yourself the struggle of ever comparing them, they are miles apart…I meant light years apart. For a fan that have met the both of them. Gen is way more polite than Omosexy. They are both stars in their field stop the unnecessary comparison. I’d rather be single and successful, than be married and still hop with different men……….. let me stop here!!!!!!

but why are u so ignorant. Please stop disgracing yourself in public.

People’s complexion can easily change, could be based on the environment he or she is in, the weather (cool, cold seasons), drinking lots of water and even certain fruits help too. If u have ever lived in a country that has multiple seasons, you can easily tell them you tend to get darker during the summer season when the sun is out more and you tend to get lighter during the winter season, when the sun is only usually out for 3-5 hours each day.

Google is your friend boo, please do not be this ignorant when you are not on a website typing cause you might just be laughed at. Biko!

I’m a hardened genevieve fan. Such fan that I’m interested in everything she does. I buy Amstel since she became an ambassador and I bought Etisalat modem the same day she was announced as ambassador. I truly admire Omotola and her ways as well. But peeps can’t seem to stop this battle between these thespians. Genevieve is very calm and tries by all means to shy from the glitz and glamour that comes with her job while Omotola loves it and embraces it by all means. Their personalities are also different. Genevieve is very calm and unassuming and loves her space but gets out of her shell when she’s familiar with a person or terrain while Omotola is an extreme extrovert who goes along well with strangers and people. I love them both but I love Genevieve more. No need for bad blood between two women making ends meet in their possible way. Thanks

In other news, Pls u guys should see “Road To Yesterday “. It’s a testament that Genevieve heard your criticism of her recent acting skill and decided to show us she’s still the great actress she’s always being. This story is not unique but the acting, the plots and twist and the execution of the story is very great. It is a proof that Genevieve is not only a very good actress but an amazing writer and could be the Shindig Rhimes of Nigeria if she can harness her energy into story writing.

    • linda

      December 2, 2015 at 6:16 pm

Genevieve didn’t write the story. Although the idea was hers, I believe it was written by Emil Garuba and Ishaya Bako

@ay and @yup, i hope omotola is paying you people enough for coming here to fight and make up lies for her. I’m asking cos I know she doesn’t pay her staff well either. so pele o. Defending a rude woman on a hungry tummy. It must not be easy.

@ay, for someone who doesn’t care about genny you sure follow up on her. Her movie is getting great reviews and will be a success no matter how much you hate on it in your own little corner. When omotola is ready to make her own movie she can always check how genny did hers and follow her footsteps. Like i said she’s always going to play catch up to genny no matter how much you deny it.
And you must feel terrible that after all those people said what they have about genny, people still hopelessly love genny hence this post on BN. Choke on your bile you hear. Whom God has blessed no man can curse.

Genny is a classy woman whom the lot of you haters can only dream to be like. You wish you had half her clout and fan base. Omotola on the other hand is a crass and uncouth woman who runs her mouth without control and oh boy, you need to see her fight and argue with people who don’t drop favorable remarks about her on her social media pages.

Anyway, I’m done here. We know that Genny is the Queen B of this show. If a big international role comes up today Genny will be the first to be considered on that list and thats why omotola is in overdrive to get noticed. She has to work hard to get noticed whereas it comes effortlessly for genny. Thats something you haters know but keep denying.
And for those who say I’m in Genny’s camp, I’m not. Matter of fact how do I get in the camp cos obviously i would love to.

    • Desire

Great review?? Lol! pls link one good review..wheres the ‘great’ reviews coming from for God’s sake?? haha…Give evidence! dont just say for sake of it…

You say OmoT is rude…well give evidence too..no one has called her out on it…meanwhile in the last 2-3 weeks, 2 people have called gene out….woza!! no fight here..you say something (how omot replies rudely to people on social media – provide evidence? No? It cant be that hard?

Let me say dat I’m not nigerian but Cameroonian and here ppl look genevieve as the face of nollywood with more street credibility ( she is really famous) and I think she deserves it. Maybe but I don’t think Omotola who I’m not saying is not a legend too but not sure any of her movies can compare to d fame of Sharon stone, dats probably d most famous character out of Nollywood

@brizola you’re an idiot !!! Being married is a very great achievement! Name the people anyone is sleeping around with. Genevieve’s own is very well known . From kunle ( the tinsel actor ) to Ramsey Noah , to several married men and govt officials. Genevieve has always thought being seen with money and people who have money makes her “classy” . Her pr team waves that word very often and carelessly. Class is a woman who has maintained a high value of respect at home and abroad. Managing all flawlessly and still looking damn good at it. Class is OMOTOLA. you Genevieve and your trolls are the manufactured crass. Let’s wear expensive clothes, carry bags , be seen with whose who , send out “am I not pretty pictures every day” !!! Total empty crass bunch!

@brizola many of u genny’s camp will just come here and be defending with lies. Omotola”s claim to fame was getting married and having four kids? such a blatant lie. Woman that started acting way before getting pregnant. she started acting 1995 and her eldest child is 18years,do the maths. You pple deny this woman’s hardwork and its soo pathetic. My question now is where are the likes omotola started with? from sandra achums to regina askia…doesnt that tell u even with marriage and kids this woman continued pushin!. You talk abt class yet omotola isnt the kind to showcase designer bags? she isnt the one that wants to be known with the high and mighty in society. Go and check her IG page and twitter and see difference between a celeb and the other ones u guys call celebrity. So for her 20years in the industry no one with kids and husband was able to take her shine? since that was her claim to fame atleast another actress married with kids should take that throne..be spewing rubbish.

I really dont blame u but the poster of this that couldnt find news, you posted on omotola today and u had no news to post than posting abt genevieve selfies like other nigerian celebs dnt post selfies on their page every gaddamn day…if u dnt get out!

Let me help “Nope” out with links to the great reviews.

    pulse.ng/movies/motion-pictures-with-chidumga-is-genevieve-nnajis-road-to-yesterday-worth-the-hype-and-anticipation-review-id4302577.html

    royalmind.com.ng/road-to-yesterday-2015-review-by-rotimi-ero/

    sotectonic.com/road-to-yesterday/

    tribuneonlineng.com/node/21673

    bellanaija.com/2015/11/09/seyifunmi-ajanaku-pros-cons-of-living-in-the-past-read-the-review-for-road-to-yesterday/

I will stop there, and I hope you get to read them. Now, I am not saying the movie is well received by everyone, but the fact is, majority of the reviews from movie critics and remarks from the audience have been amazingly positive, with only a very few number of negatives, which I believe is normal. Even october 1 had people who didn’t appreciate…many other good/great movies out there experience the same. What appeals to A may not appeal to B… Variety is the spice of life. It is also important to note that this is the first Nigerian film to have a large following on sociamedia… With close to 60k likes on Facebook, over 5k followers on Instagram and over 4k followers on twitter…by God’s grace it’s already a certified HIT! As for the claim about Genny being rude, sir/ma please calm down. That was something the media made up a long time ago, when she began to be famous and was hardly seen at social functions. Another reason is because she is a very private person who takes time to loosen up to strangers. That media propaganda of Genny being rude is what most people decided to stick to, When Sisiyemmie came on sociamedia to narrate her uncool (according to her narration) experience with Genny, others who never got to meet her but are her fans, and those who just don’t like her because they just can’t bring themselves to like decided to run with it, simy because the media has painted her to be so from the onset. As regards Blessing Egbe, sir/ma please put aside your dislike for Genny and observe her comments. Doesn’t Blessing sound like a bitter person? Don’t you think the honourable thing for Blessing to have done since she experienced an unplesant incident on Afriff closing night film day is to report the ordeal to the person who invited her, as well as inquire from Afriff administrators why the arrangement was so for that day since they were the organizers of the event. At least I want to believe Afriff and Genny had an agreement. If what she claimed happened actually did happen on that day, it is solely because Afriff agreed to it. They should be blamed for whatever went wrong because they were the host of the festival. Rather than do this, her bitterness towards Genny which is evident in her comments made her call out Genny and run insults at her. That to me is awful and demeaning. Even that fellow from TNS that reviewed “road to yesterday” didn’t he also sound bitter to you as you read his review of the movie? Is that how a professional critic reviews a movie? Is that how an unbias critic reviews movies? Now tell me, If Blessing had written that about your favorite Omotola, would you have given credence to her rants? Wouldn’t you have stood in defence of your favorite? Please let’s be reasonable even in our bitterness or dislike for one another. I know Genny isn’t a saint, and that is one of the reasons I love her…because she is imperfect and not defined by her falls…she’s had failures, made mistakes, but through it all she still rise!!! Shout out to my favorite celebrity of all time GENEVIEVE NNAJI…a TRUE representation of a STRONG WOMAN!!! A woman consistently winning.. A woman crush everyday a.k.a 3G (Gracious, Gorgeous Genny).
    Unapologetic Genevievian!!

Thank you my dear. I wasn’t going to respond to those obvious retards who quickly google and link the negative comments but can’t do the same to read reviews on the movie. You pretty much summed it all up for their denying behinds. They know genny sets the pace and their fav catches up years later and then makes a lot of noise about it like its the first time it’s ever happened.

And I love the word Genevievian. How smooth! Hehehe. Thats it from now on. I’m a proud GENEVIEVIAN too jare! Now watch the other one try to come up with a name for herself to be called.

      December 3, 2015 at 2:55 pm

And now that you bring up the topic of “team”, is this the same team which organized Omotola at 20 “World Tour” which only went as far as Abuja? Is this the same team behind her failed clothing line “Ada by Omosexy”? Is this the same team behind her failed jewelry collection? Is this the same team behind her bad decision to become a reality tv star? Reality television that should be reserved for C listers? Kai. Sounds like Omotola needs to fire her team.
