Remember Coldplay also featured Rihanna years ago for ‘Princess of China’ now with Beyonce should we call this ‘Princess of India?’…………lol. I kinda prefer princess of china because Rihanna really sang in that song. This just seems like a waka pass song for Beyonce. Like she just spent two minutes in the studio for the song. This song is not bad though, it will eventually grow on you.

    • seriously

      January 30, 2016 at 8:40 pm

      @ goldfinch
I’m not crazy about rihanna but Princess of China was worth watching and she executed her part well. I can’t say the same for Beyonce in this video. She’s one of those artists that she puts out mediocrity especially in her music but her fans will still praise her no matter what. It’s like their brain stops working. Bey’s live performances are better but still her music, creativity doesnt show her true talent. Adele put out her songs, video and it was cricket. Nobody argued, insulted each other, that’s when you know a TRUE craftmanship is here.

I can’t wait for the India-appropriation backlash hehehehe

I really hate the music and I really can’t look at Beyonce so I ditched early. Is there anything Coldplay has done that is as bad as this? I don’t know. It’s impossible how bad this sounds and how stupid Bey looks. I would have been happy with the tourist scenes of India and the positive vibing Coldplay Chris but I can’t do this, sorry.

Also skippable: the Rihanna Anti album. Let he who has ears…
Definitely avoid that mess. She decided to go Beyonce pointless on the new album. It’s a huge mess in the ears.

Want something to watch instead? Adventures of a Lifetime (Coldplay) is cool.

Home (soundtrack) 2015 – by Rihanna and others – is a nice album.
Adventure of a lifetime 2015 – Coldplay – is a nice song and video.
I recommend these substitute experiences. for myself 🙂

I love my Beyonce but i’m not exactly feeling this one. Costume and hair is hideous plus i’m not feeling the vocals of both o them. I don’t even understand what the song means!

I absolutely looooooove this song! From ye moment o heard it months ago iv been in love. I imagined a different video along the lines of Beyonces XO lol, but this will grow on me lol

Don’t like it- cold play made a mistake using beyonce- she ain’t that relevant anymore: something about her isn’t classy- even with the money there is just something missing- like she is fake n you know she blows up like her hood sister- Rihanna or an Indian artist would have transformed the song n make it edgy

All i can say is that an average Nigerian does not know what a good music is. This is great. Listen to lyrics and not beats!!!

  20. love

    January 30, 2016 at 10:51 am

lets face facts, this is not the best one would expect from this powerful collaboration. visuals are ok, but song is boring with a capital B. totally subdued beyonce’s powerful voice, more like she did a cameo rather than sing.

Anyway, it must be important to them if they heard it in the studio and found it interesting… whatever everything is art to them

The song is nice… Not my best but still nice. It’s the type of song that would grow on you. Beautiful India, beautiful video. Having said that, what was Beyoncé part about? Singing oh ooh ahh ahh? There was no point for the Beyoncé feature. Her vocals are not that amazing, Katie Perry or Adele would have been a better option. Was I the only one waiting for her to sing something. 8/10 minus bey’s part.

Yeah, and that’s all it is because there is no sound. Is this their was if trying to create demand and searches for this video? First, it was getting a message on Global Grind that the video had been removed and now this? Lol

Oh my God! I love Beyonce and I love love love Coldplay but this song?!! What in God’s name happened Jeezus Christ! What a waste of great costume design and props with the lovely Indian backdrop and all. I can’t believe this. Being looking forward to this Lawd! I can’t even. This shouldn’t even make Top 1 billion not to talk of Top 40. Just no. I’m going to sulk now. lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed this song. Have been waiting for it and it didn’t disappoint one bit. Clearly, Coldplay can do no wrong in my eyes. Love that its so mellow yet with some tune variations and Bey went along without doing much screaming. Love the Indian festival of colour concept. Nice that a world-class song is completely shot in the ordinariness of the routine activities of a developing country. Got me thinking about when such will be done with an ofala festival theme…Coldplay always, xoxo.

When i compare this to Princess of China (think that’s the same concept) it just re-iterates the fact the Beyounce is over-rated…very over-rated. Oh well, whatever works for them
