Corps Member Allegedly Murdered by Abductors in Rivers state

Sampson Worlu who before his untimely death was a lawyer who was called to bar in October 2015. According to Vanguard, he was a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving in Imo State before his abduction at Rumuokoro roundabout in Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers State.

The brother of the deceased Charles Worlu said that the family had paid a total of N1.5 million as ransom but the abductors still murdered him. He said what the family wants right now is justice for their slain son.

The abductors who allegedly murdered the Corps member and disappeared after collecting the ransom, have been arrested by officers of the Department of State Security, DSS and are currently facing charges a Magistrate Court in Port Harcourt
