Conjoined Ayeni Twin Girls Arrive New York For Surgery

Sometime in March, BN brought you the story of the conjoined twins Miracle and Testimony Ayeni who have been hospitalized since their birth about 7 months ago. Click here if you missed it.

After much publicity online, several hospitals  got interested in the case and requested for their MRI and CT scans in order to assess the twins for surgery.

The mother cried for help after the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu refused to release the medical documents.

The issues were later resolved and the children have been flown abroad for treatment in a better medical facility.

With the support of Arik Air, the twins and their family landed in New York yesterday.
