5 Sisters Graduate from Law School! Here’s the Story Behind It

Sisters Graduate from Nigerian Law School_25 siblings, all sisters, graduated from Nigerian Law School this week. One of the sisters wrote on her Insta page“we’re siblings, of the same man and woman; these are not costumes… we’re actually lawyers! All of us 5 🙂 🙂 :)”

Here’s the story as told by photographer Jonah Ajigo of Brookmatrix Photography.

Tor & Berry met about 35 years ago, and they decided to dedicate their lives to God… for a while it seemed like God was just minding his business and ignoring them.

He gave them 5 children, 5 girls… and we all know Nigeria; they don’t think much of the girl child.

Anyway, fast forward a few years and God decided to shut everyone up!!!!! Ladies and gents I’d like to introduce you to the first parents in Nigeria (I stand corrected) who have 5 KIDS, All GIRLS, All LAWYERS!!!

Awesome stuff! Congratulations. Same happened to my sis in law, she had 4 girls and yawned for a boy cos her mother in law won’t allow her rest, the mother in law actually married a girl for her son who had a girl also. My sis in law later got pregnant and had a set of twin boys… forward, 4yrs ago, all four girls graduated same day as doctors from UI…we partied like no tomorrow…..

      July 15, 2016 at 1:13 pm

Yes! But guess what, she past tense now

    • Honestly speaking

      July 15, 2016 at 12:54 pm

as in your mother married another wife for your brother?

    • lafunkky

      July 15, 2016 at 1:16 pm

      July 15, 2016 at 5:56 pm

So eh, after the man was married for, and he willingly slept with the other woman for her to get pregnant, your sis in law still remained in the marriage?
And she continued sleeping with the man and had a set of twins?
Oh Africa! To be a man is soo much fun… U always have your cake and eat it! A full grown man with children was married for! ????… And he was giving a pass…
I am just looking at your sister in law with side eye… The ‘fulfilment’ that comes from remaining a Mrs…

@BijouxthisBijouxthat What kind of comment is this abeg? It’s her choice. Are we going to start shaming women for staying with their husbands for whatever reasons?

Love endures all things my dear, so says the Bible…… True Love is not beans at all…. That’s why marriage is not for everyone. I can never condone the dirty acts but we truly are clueless about marriage sometimes. Two humans, humans who lie even to themselves and disappoint themselves, pledging to love each other no matter what happens forever, People get sooooo excited to show off engagements rings and pray for their own to come but they dont fully realize that a long lasting happy marriage(#marriagegoals) includes tears and prayers at night, sweat, hurt and swallowing your mouth and pride and even someone elses’ nonsense long term and short term, putting yourself off entirely for the good of the other. Usually women do this selflessly, but our African men these days to reciprocate, (except the older ones) you go wait die (and the few who reciprocate are celebrated as if that is not supposed to be the norm). As if its not hard enough to do, but doing for someone who will not blindly do for you too…… Mehn I celebrate Married women in Africa, truly the epitome of strength!

We need to teach our girls and boys…. We need to Celebrate being Single too ….. Its in the Bible ….. but Ill leave the rest for Pastor.

      Back to the matter
Sha Lawyer Girls CONGRATS for putting your head down! Enemies have surely been shut up! Jehovah Reigns!!!!!!!!!

Much respect to the FATHER who never allowed the pressure of a ‘Male Child Syndrome’ affect his love for his wife, their mother.
Congrats to you Black Beauties – Now you’ll deserve a family holiday.
