Ignite Fellowship Discusses “God and Money” this Saturday | August 6th
Everybody wants to be rich. But, the way the world operates, we’ve been led to believing the wrong things about money. For instance:
Is money the root of all evil?
Is it possible to be rich without being corrupt?
Is money the solution to all of life’s problems?
Is it really better to “cry in a limousine” than to be happy on a bicycle?
And what about the church? Is it wrong for Christians to be rich?
We get tired of pastors preaching about materialistic prosperity, even though we all want to be financially prosperous. Many of us have also been exposed to false prophets whose sole aim was to extort us of our money in the name of “giving sacrificially”.
To add to all this, life is becoming increasingly difficult. The cost of living is high. School fees are expensive. Food is expensive. Petrol is expensive. Rent is expensive. The dollar is high…
Somehow, we end up worrying way more about money than almost anything else in life. It distracts us from living out our God-given purposes, and even affects our choices when it comes to love, marriage and building lasting relationships with friends and families.
In all of this, we typically forget to ask God what His purpose for money is.
How does He want us to get wealth?
What does He want us to use it for?
How does He want us to view wealth?
Join us on Saturday, August, 6th 2016, as we talk about God and Money.
Come with your questions, come with your concerns, come with your friends, and most of all, come with an open heart, ready to receive the wisdom that comes from God.

Who is Ignite?
Ignite is the youth fellowship of Guiding Light Assembly (GLA). We are young Christians in the real world, following the Way, the Truth and the Life that Jesus patterned for us, in practical ways. We know it’s not always easy to seek first the Kingdom of God in the times we live in, and so we come together to fellowship, to encourage one another, and to strengthen one another on this Christian walk.
If you’re young (or young at heart), then the Ignite fellowship is for you! For more information, visit us on www.ignitegla.org and follow us on our Social Media pages:
