Police Confirm Abduction of Kaduna House of Assembly Member

The Police in Kaduna on Tuesday confirmed the abduction of Ibrahim Ismail, a member of Kaduna State House of Assembly.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Aliyu Usman, made the confirmation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Ismail was abducted early on Tuesday at his residence in Abapka area in Kaduna metropolis.

The lawmaker represents Tudun Wada constituency in the House of Assembly.

Usman said the command had deploy its officers to rescue the lawmaker.

He said the rescue effort was being conducted in conjunction with the intelligence unit of the Force Headquarters.
