#ZAhmed2016: Indimi Family to Host a “Wedding Celebration” Tonight!

The ceremonies in the wedding between President Muhammadu Buhari‘s daughter, Zahra, and billionaire businessman, Mohammed Indimi‘s son, Ahmed are not yet over – one will take place tonight!

An invitation card has surfaced on social media of a “Wedding Celebration” organised by the billionaire’s family.

The couple, during the course of the week, had a wedding ball, the traditional Kamu (which means “to catch” the bride)Nikai at the National Mosque, a luncheon organised by the president, and a dinner at the State House.

We wish the new couple a successful celebration and marriage.

Na wa o. On top this acute hardship in the land. Buhari is the most insensitive and wicked leader we’ve had in our history. Argue with your gullible self.

What did he do for heaven’s sake!? His daughter shouldn’t get married, shouldn’t celebrate or be happy? Let’s be fair, this wedding has so far not been ostentatious compared to other high profile presidential children’s weddings – remember the Yar’adua daughters’ weddings with the endless lavish events, the souvenirs of flatscreen TVs etc, and recently, Jonathan’s daughter’s lavish wedding last year, where gold iphones were given out as souvenirs. Compared to those ones and other lavish celebrity weddings, Zahra Buhari’s wedding has been modest to say the least. And this is the president’s daughter.

Please don’t forget the father-in-law, Indimi is a multi billionaire. His wealth alone can foot the whole wedding bills without them feeling a penny left the bank.
Please celebrate, and you will also have cause for others to celebrate with you.

Because the economy is harsh now, his daughter should not get married again. Or he should give her to a pauper to marry. Have you stopped eating in solidarity of the harsh economy?

Are you aware that this wedding is as simple as anything compared with most Northern weddings??!! Are you aware that the indimi family is one of the richest in the country and left to them it would have been way more elaborate than this!! I am in fact more proud of buhari now for holding his ground and maintaining simplicity. Even an average Northern wedding is more elaborate than this but you can see the family did their best to keep things simple!! I’m sure that’s why th indimis want to do this celebration and I’m sure they’ll make it grand, since they already have their wife by now… and for your info, Northern weddings generally last almost week long!! So don’t get tired of the celebrations just yet.

Which simplicity did Buhari maintain? The Buhari part of that wedding consumed billions of naira of public funds. Buhari is a hypocrite.

They are rich on the back of Niger Deltans. Sovereign wealth. We Niger Deltans reserve the right to comment on how and when they use the money since we cannot stop them from profiting from our cancer called oil.

      @ Seyi:
Simple wedding my foot! Why all the hide hide about the ‘simple’ wedding? You will be shocked at how much this ‘simple’ wedding truly gulped. Buhari is a confirm hypocrite!

Dear Lord, I sincerely do pray that after all this ceremonies and all the stress this lady has passed through in this one week (changing clothes, make-up, smiling even when you don’t feel like, greeting people, posing for pictures) that this marriage be till forever. I don’t care whether it is arranged or they are in love, Father let nothing come between them.

I don’t understand people’s negative comments on Zahra’ s wedding. Because Buhari is President, his kids should not marry again? We do not know the details of who funded what and besides the Indimis are very wealthy so if Sai Baba refused to spend that much, his in laws would still spend what they want. Let’s learn to wish people well and not spew hatred please.

So many gullible peeps on this blog…..The fact still remains that Buhari said he had only 1million Naira in his account during his campaign,I remembered someone borrowed him some money for his campaign (rest in peace mama) …So tell me how come he has so much to lavish for his daughter’s wedding? and his wife wearing expensive things… My fellow Nigerians smell the coffee…This government is as fake as Kim kardashians butt…

“The fact still remains that Buhari said he had only 1million Naira in his account during his campaign […] and his wife wearing expensive things…”
Just so you know, there are women out there who don’t depend on their husbands for clothing.

Really ??????????? So you can have an Hermes Bag and wear jewellery in the tune of millions……… Your kids school in England and you don’t have 1m to buy form.
Why didn’t she buy the form for her husband as independent woman she is na.
Buhari even collected 1m dat was d life savings of one old Hausa woman.
I wish this couple well……… But Buhari is a hypocrite.
If you’ve ever experienced d way EFCC treats ppl untop this Anti-corruption crusade, ur views wld change.
I have 1st hand experience bcos I have experienced it. After we were harassed for like 2wks, going to dere offices daily, leaving dere smtimes 1am against smthn we were innocent of, we were finally cleared. No apologies nothing. Becos of a gift that was given to smone under investigation since 2008 ohhhhh.
The whole administrations lies are just disgusting.

Annie, u are not well. it is foolish women like u that need to change their mindset. Any woman who gets involved with men agree to be treated as a property. That’s what men are good for. Treating women like trash.
