BN Style Catch Up: A Look at Fashion Week as #NYFW begins!

Published

 on

Fashion Month has begun with the start of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) yesterday, and as usual, BellaNaija Style has got you covered.

The start of the week so far has shown that the fashion community is embracing diversity. For just day one, at least one black girl walked a show. For instance, Nigerian model Imade Ogbewi (from Isis modeling agency), walked the Adam Selman show. Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn made an appearance at the second ready-to-wear La Perla show.

Some of the notable trends so far have been sweater dressing (at Ulla Johnson and Adam Selman) and also long easy dresses (at ADEAM and Erin Fetherston).

Below are some of the highlights of #NYFW so far.

Go Naija! this is beautifuL!! BUT the Only thing is, the model wont see the color of the check. Isis models (Joan Okorodudu) doesnt pay her models, and she also uses jazz/voddoo on them to covet their glory
