Senate President Bukola Saraki, who led a team of National Assembly leaders to visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London, said at the end of the visit: “there is no cause for alarm”

His statement was meant to douse apprehensions and speculations in Nigeria about President Buhari’s health. And after meeting the President today, Saraki declared:

“The president I saw today is healthy, witty and himself… he is doing well, was cheerful and in good spirits”.

With Saraki on the trip were the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and the majority leader in the Senate, Ahmed Lawan.

His statement read:

Myself, Rt Honorable Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and leader of Senate, Senator Ahmed Lawan paid a visit to President Buhari in Abuja House in London.

We were delighted to see that President Buhari is doing well, was cheerful and in good spirits.

The president I saw today is healthy, witty and himself.

The president’s absence and imminent return shows that there is no vacuum in government and our system of democracy is working with all organs of government fulfilling their mandate.

And let me use the time tested cliché, there is no cause for alarm!

Mr president looks sick.Wish you quick recovery. Please remain until your doctor certified that you can resume work.Osinbanjo ain’t doing bad.Even if you come back home today,i advised that you stay home and rest to avoid relapse. If you cannot continue, kuku handover power to osi and go and rest your health is more important to us than the wahalla of Naija. The wahalla too much and there is little you can do to solve it.

No cause for alarm. Great news! So what in God’s name is he still doing in London? And why is Nigeria sending emissaries to visit a man on ‘vacation’?

Bubu your vacation has turned into staycation since your officials now visits you in London. cos I don’t understand how a president just travels without giving us a definite date of returning and his people are leaving their duties to visit him on vacation. Please where is that heard of and if you are not sick what the hell are you still doing in London

This is the reason Africa, Nigeria can’t govern themselves and will remain shitty while the rest of the world are far ahead of the continent.
Visiting Buhari is more important than how the country’s economy is doing. None of them are talking about practical steps to better the country

If Buhari is not sick, then this is just disrespectful to Nigerians. I’m frankly irritated. Whose money are they using to pay all these visits in twos? Why cant he address us? He is not ur father and we are not petulant children you ignore. He is a public servant and is answerable to Nigerians no matter his age.

Please resign or go be an Emir somewhere.

see Saraki’s face and head for example….can you see two different shades—front is fair back is darker

      see dogara’s head…..

i just hope Buhari isnt dead like Yaradua and they are trying to stage manage it.

The only person i pity is the VP…certainly they wont want him to be the president….He should travel too and go see by himself
