If Buhari( a secondary school graduate) can become President, why can’t Patience Jonathan be a Senator?

The minimum educational requirement for becoming a President in Nigeria is an SSCE Certificate, so what are you saying?
Can you see that you have not made sense in any way whatsoever?

She’s clearly looking for another avenue to steal more money, since the previous ones have been confiscated by the EFCC. These are reasons why Nigeria can’t move forward! Having corrupt, greedy people at the top to lead us!

Why not if not?? After all, Bubu was “Democratically” elected President. Bukola Saraki is Senate President. Rotimi Amaechi was a Gov and now a Minister, Remi Tinubu is a Senator, Raji Rasaki’s wife is a senator, Fashola and his web design and renovation stench is a Minister. So, why not PFJ?

Nigeria will get it right someday. If not let the Army take over.

If Buhsri with all his baggage, ran, why not?
Enough propaganda and distraction, abeg! !
Talk and deal with the matter at hand . Jonathan and his family may not be angel Gabriel but in the scheme of things in Nigeria and Nigerian history they are good.

No one should be a sacred cow!
From Obasanjo, to Banbangida, to all of them. Our senators, other fedderal and state congressmen, governors, local government chairmen are even worst.

Patience is a saint compared to some of these people, in anyway imaginable.
    Condemn one , condemn all!!!

It is a free country, sure she can run, if she wins I hope her constituents will be ready for what they get. The problem is we need to stop rewarding bad behaviour / criminals. If we truely want a better Nigeria, a developed Nigeria that serves us all, we need to stop rewarding criminals. How do you except any public worker to serve well if the thieves always get rewarded.

Just a brief lesson on how Nigerian politics works, if the senator representing your district has greasy palms, the federal funds allocated for projects in your region will get tempered with. So don’t come and blame who ever the president is at that time when your region is stagnant. Blame your senator, and state governors.

@ wellness. …And partial presidents, who don’t share resources equally, who appoint only their family and friends to key positions and give juicy contracts to friends and family.

We need more woman in the Senate.

First the senate, then foreign minister, then the presidential nomination. I’m with her.

P.S why isn’t the sisterhood rallying to Ms Le Pen??? or is it a strictly Anglo club?

It is laughable and a mockery of our political system. But if her people nominate her as their representative, that is their wish.

I’m not understanding but again the least qualification is a secondary school certificate. Meanwhile our president was elected while we were still looking for his certificate.

lmaoo at the people foaming in the mouth about Mama P, tomorrow now Aisha that you people packaged that year will come out and same idiots will call her qualified. first of all who is the senator representing your zone? what has he/she contributed to make your life better? when it comes to Patience all of you will dig out your hypocrisy caps and start blabbing. remember Dino Melaye is a serving senator, as well as the one with Child brides, so what makes her worse? Nigeria’s biggest problems are 1) Incompetence 2) Hypocrisy and 3) corruption, in that order. before you come for Mama P, make sure your senator has brought your zone to immeasurable heights, otherwise na just “My thief is better than your thief”

It’s because of Nnenne and people like her that is why I can NEVER march or fight for Nigeria. All of you that just can’t see beyond tribal affiliation, I am done with all of you. None of you should ever demand for justice from Buhari or any other politician. You all truly deserve the leaders you have.

I think it is high time for Nigerians to understand that it is not about comparing two people based on the minimum standard. After the 2015 election and what we are experiencing as a country at the moment, the bare minimum should longer be the basis of our judgement or acceptance. Yes, Buhari with his “SSCE certificate” contested and won, that doesn’t mean that come 2019 every other candidate that holds a SSCE certificate should also be the one to rule. It is high time we start learning from our mistakes and striving for the utmost best. We should no longer settle for the bare minimum, regardless of religion or political affiliations. That is the only way we can get to where we deserve to be as a nation. Just my two cents sha.

I wonder why you guys are complaining if Mama Peace decide to contest so be it…..when you are called to join the governance and be part of Nigeria politics you are saying ‘Politics is a dirty game’. So shut up and leave the politics in the hand of dirty people.
