Trump Donates Salary Earned During his First Quarter in the White House to the National Park Service | WATCH

White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced that Donald Trump has decided to donate his salary for the first three months as US President to the National Park Service.

The president has spoken with counsel and made the decision to donate his first-quarter salary to a government entity,” Spicer said at Monday’s briefing.
Spicer said the paycheck starts from when Trump took office on Januar 20 until now. He also handed a cheque for $78,333.32 to the National Park Service to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke during the interview.

Recall that during the campaign, Trump vowed that he wouldn’t take the presidency’s $400,000 annual salary if elected. For now, he has fulfilled that promise after his victory in November.

Last month, Spicer said Trump would donate his salary at the end of the year and asked the press to weigh in on where the donations should go.

Stingy Trump has to announce his irregular acts of charity on camera for the world to see. Sad!

On a serious note, the fact that he gives his press secretary a check of $70,000 (guy is supposedly a billionaire) to wave in front of press tells you everything you need to know about the kind of person Donald is. This isn’t about “charity” – its about self-promotion and self-importance. And to think christians voted for this man.

Americans got what America deserves. Sometimes, you don’t really appreciate a good thing until you have something terrible to compare it with. *pops gum*
