Yvonne Orji who plays Molly, Issa Rae‘s best friend in the hit TV series “Insecure” has signed with talent agency UTA, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Orji, who is also a stand up comedian, performed the opening stand-up set for Chris Rock’s Total Black Out tour in Atlanta.
The actress, who was formerly signed with CAA, is also developing her own tv show, “First Gen,” a semi-autobiographical comedy about a lady whose Nigerian mother discovers has traded medical school for stand-up comedy.
The second season of Insecure is set to begin airing on the 23rd of July 2017.
Other UTA clients include Kevin Hart, Angelina Jolie, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, and DJ Khaled.
