Beyoncé surprises Colin Kaepernick with Sports Illustrated’s Muhammad Ali Legacy Award

Last night, Beyoncé showed support for Colin Kaepernick at the 2017 Sports Illustrated awards.

In a surprise appearance, Queen B presented the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback with Sports Illustrated‘s Muhammad Ali Legacy Award.

The award which was announced by Trevor Noah is given to an athlete who uses their platform to promote change.

Speaking on Colin, Bey said:

It feels so good to be here on such a special night of appreciation. Thank you Colin Kaepernick. Thank you for your selfless heart and your conviction. Thank you for your personal sacrifice, Colin took action with no fear of consequence or repercussion, only hope to change the world for the better.

To change perception, to change the way we treat each other, especially people of color. We’re still waiting for the world to catch up…His message is solely focused on social injustice for historically disenfranchised people. Let’s not get that mistaken.

Beyonce is looking hot! Funny enough, I love the thicker Bey!

seems like her instagram pics are mostly photo shopped though cos she always looks slimmer and more toned on instagram page than pics taken by random photographers in real life. She’s obviously wearing a waist trainer here too.

I wish women will stop being under this annoying pressure to ‘snap back’ immediately after giving birth. Despite the ‘goddess’ status accorded to her by her followers, this lady is human like the rest of us…and when you have kids in your 30s…the body takes a slower time to ‘snap back’. She just had twins for crying out loud.

IF you asked most African Women they will tell you it was Kaepernick ‘who’ gave the Award to Beyonce.

….and IF you asked Most African Men they will refer to a ‘Play’ he made, whilst he was still employed.

…..BELIEVE IT or Not! Most Africans dont even know this ‘negro’ or Care!

…..and the remaining fraction are Like him!

…….QUESTION IS, How you can value something; that dont value itself !??

……THIS IS HOW, Hypocrisy on planet Earth has become such a strong currency!

Thank you, Colin, for speaking and standing up for truth. Most people do the talk but not the walk. Thank you for your strong convictions, many have them but are too afraid and play it too safe. Thank you for wearing your hair so proudly, because many are drowning in their inferiority complex and don’t accept how they were created. Thank you for being an example.

I don’t think Colin needs awards and recognition. Only logical way to recognize this man is to get him a job. He still has no NFL contract and signing him to a contract is the best way to applaud his boldness. We can’t watch these brave minds be the fall guy for speaking what’s on everyone’s mind. I see it all the time in corporate America. The outspoken person get black balled. Yeah you get all the these awards but your azz hasn’t been promoted in 15 years

Revolutionary change, only a few get it not everyone. If you are not ready to be blackballed, spoken harshly about, the enemy of many then you are not being the real change.
NFL might not be his calling but was used as a platform to get to his true purpose.
The United States was built for white people. Therefore, he may be out of job forever because the very things he’s fighting against is in front of him. Majority of NFL owners are whites. You can’t be fighting against the devil, and expect him to be nice to you and pat you on the shoulder. And if it means to turn your back the other way, let it be.
