No, she will say, Moses was actually Mo but Gd told her not to tell us until that moment. And her flock will clap and say Amin!

Hmm. Some people got the memo while others decided to dress Indian. Best dressed for me is ini dinma. Beverly revealed a bit too much. Tallulah…It is well

    • Ottawa Queen

      December 11, 2017 at 5:52 am

AY and the wife did it for me…they look very much like an Arabian couple. Mabel covered up well and that’s how the women dress, less skin revealed.

Beverly Naya… not a good look. Only Ireti Doyle, Amaka Akindoju, Wunmi Akinfesi and Ufoma McDermott look okayish. Everyone else looks horrid. They didn’t execute the theme properly… no no. Trying too hard. Next time stick with nice evening dresses.

A few good looking guests…Tiwa, Rita, Adesua, Seyi, Lanre, Sola Sobowale, Ifeoma Williams.

Ebuka biko quit trying, you ‘wowed’ us with your BAAD 2017 agbada…and I think that’s enough.

Dear Mrs Ukeje, please make an effort sometimes. Haba!!!

best dressed- adesua: lovely dress. love the whole ensemble.
rita- she’s just one gorgeous woman.

linda -simple,nice. she looks more like tinsel actress Wendy Lawal here.
nancy-beautiful lady. the look would have bn more nice without the train.
    bervely- too revealing
ini- can she pause for a second to breathe? babe has been trying too hard to slay. she’s a fine girl ,by the way.
wofai-love the look, minus the nose thing. maybe because i’m not a fan of piercings.
zainab- looks nice. nothing extraO about the look. i like the headwrap though.
banky- one of the few guys who looked nice
lala- i love what she’s wearing; her makeup is making her look like she just got out of bed. kinda tired, kinda sleepy.
daniella & ayinna were underdressed in my opinion; considering that they played lead roles in the movie.
Tallulah- who is she and WHAT IS SHE WARING?????
bolinto- decent. at least her makeup was on point.
    mimi-i don’t like what i see
Uzor & Omotola- WAY TOO MUCH going on.
    Omowunmi- that hair issa NO!
frank donga and his wife looked good too.

a few good looking guests, the rest , i can’t really tell.

    • Ezinne

      December 11, 2017 at 3:27 am

I don’t see anything wrong in renting a dress to wear. Outside Nigeria you can rent just about anything to go for an event from diamonds to cars.
Why spend good money on an outfit you will likely never wear again.
Rent/borrow, Please give these ladies a break, they are human too.

iono but I think most of them looked nice… and nothings overboard bout a themed premiere. Lots of people like to play dress up… makes it more fun than the regular evening dress

  28. FBI blood

    December 11, 2017 at 12:00 am

Nancy isime and linda did it for me…I know that Adesua will put on a replica of her wedding dress…and somebody should beg Lala Akindoju, she should stop going for events if she can not step it up just like what she wore to banky’s wedding, looking like Mary-Amaka

  29. FBI blood

    December 11, 2017 at 12:01 am

Btw, Shey Oc Ukeje is still married to his wife?

    December 11, 2017 at 12:31 am

falling all over themselves to wear “arab theme” clothing yet you won’t see arabs attempt to wear any nigerian cultural attire like this. lol.

  31. Felinda

    December 11, 2017 at 12:36 am

i thought halloween was in october. Whats happening here. Masquerade Party????????

  32. Felinda

    December 11, 2017 at 12:42 am

all they had to do is search Arab fashion on Instagram and get ideas,
NOw they are mixing hausa, with indian, with aba fashion – all mixed together.
THEY ALL FAILED – except Lindo Ejiofor – Even adesua failed – there is nothing arab on what she is wearing .

    • Bolaji

      December 11, 2017 at 9:06 am

‘Felinda’ chill. Don’t hare because your premiere was not this big!

    • seriously

      December 11, 2017 at 7:10 pm

Well, Arab theme doesn’t necessarily mean be exact. You could incorporate your own creativity. It would have been hideous if they all came covering their head, arms and legs on a red carpet for a Nigerian movie. Whoever came up with the idea deserves some lashes though.

  33. babs

    December 11, 2017 at 12:57 am

Isn’t this cultural appropriation? lol smh

    • MurderSheWrote

      December 11, 2017 at 9:13 am

@tunmi This is exactly how I feel. You literally just spoke my mind. I can’t believe what I’m seeing. Why didn’t they do Nigerian culture for the premier of WP Part 1? Because our culture ain’t exotic right? Talula once again stepping out in rumpled apparel. Even the so called stylist, Toyin Lawani looks like a ghana must go. The only person who did it for me, Frank Donga, is not even here. Mscheeew. Tiwa tried too. Looking good.

  35. Anony

  37. JustSaying

    December 11, 2017 at 3:13 am

there are many Middle easter fashion bloggers on instagram from UAE, Kuwait and Saudi with Millions of followers. Yall mean to tell me you couldnt hashtag to find out what is really the true definition of Arab Fashion

This is insulting to them and i 100% blame Mo Abudu trying way too hard, – what was the point of this theme you instructed.

  38. sussy

    December 11, 2017 at 3:25 am

Almost everybody looks like a million bucks here. Both the hits and misses alike. I will like to ask though. Do designers dash these celebrities clothes or do they actually buy them? Because some of these actresses slay almost everyday. Acting must pay a lot, i think I need to change my career path. Lool
My top looks for the night are Linda Ejiofor, Indima Okojie, Sola Sobowale, Ireti Doyle, Ebukas wife and Nancy Isime. I love you Uzor Osimkpa but this your outfit for me was a huge miss.

  39. OOWEEE

I agree with these 3. Thank you ladies.

I mean they all look gorgeous especially Seyi Shay. But Linda, Ini Dima and Tiwa went with the theme.

  40. Ottawa Queen

    December 11, 2017 at 5:46 am

Lol…the comments though! I had to google Arab ladies attire and checked on images….it’s a close one like the Indians. In fact, very much the same with the jewels and hair pendants. They all did well and look stylish biko. Give them a break!

    • Orange

      December 11, 2017 at 10:59 am

I tire oh.. they are so used to seeing Indians dressed this way, they forget that some of these Arabic nations were all one until they separated and formed their own individual nations. Know your history people, Other than that, it was a costume party, it’s okay to look hideous, let them breathe please.

    • Bolaji

      December 11, 2017 at 3:04 pm

@Orange, India was once an Arabic nation before Partition? Chuckles.

  41. Mahka

    December 11, 2017 at 7:33 am

Eunice omole; Japanese, Korean,Indian mess??, Toyin Lawani, very garrish looking princess Jasmine, Linda Ejiofor for the win(maybe not that shoe but ok), looking like that Queen in Tyrant. My Beverly fall my hands.??.
Apologies to Middle Easterners, we Nigerians are an over the top bunch, pardon our excesses.

Tiwa and some of these folks look good.. quick question, if other people from different cultures..say white or asian decide to have a west african theme party..they will be dressing in bubas, geles, agbaga etc.. would that be weird ?

    December 11, 2017 at 4:29 pm

wofa i see u ooo, na true say u borrow Rhonkefella attire… Na wah

  55. nne

    December 11, 2017 at 8:39 pm

As far as I can tell, the theme was “do the most and dress a hot mess.” With a few exceptions, they looked costumey and I would not find this funny if I were Indian or Middle Eastern. Serious cultural misappropriation happening here – borderline disrespectful quite frankly.
