California Police kill Unarmed Black Man in his own Backyard

Police kill Unarmed Black Man in his own Backyard - BellaNaijaStephon Clark, a 22-year-old man in Sacramento, California, was shot to death by the police in the backyard of the home he shared with his grandparents and siblings, NY Daily News reports.

Clark had been holding a cell phone mistaken for a weapon when he was shot 20 times by the police.

The police were said to have responded to a report claiming a black man was breaking into cars.

In a press release initially released by the police, they said they saw him carrying a toolbar with which he was breaking car windows.

They had approached him, the press release said, and ordered him to stop. He however ran away from the police and toward the backyard of the house.

The police said they followed in pursuit and Clark turned toward them “while holding an object which was extended in front of him.”

They had believed he was holding a firearm and shot him 20 times, they said.

An updated press released however revealed there was no firearm or toolbar at the scene of the crime. Instead, Clark had only his cellphone.

Sequita Thompson, Clark’s grandmother told Sacremento Bee she was inside the house when he grandson got shot in the backyard. She said:

The only thing that I heard was pow, pow, pow, pow, and I got to the ground.

I opened that curtain and he was dead. I started screaming.

The police officers who shot Stephon Clark have been placed on paid administrative leave.

sigh I don’t have any words, I legit watch crime shows with white folks as suspects and it definitely doesn’t go down this way, one time there was even a nasty chase with two white suspects, and not one firearm was shot

I can’t finish reading this so even if he was breaking into cars u have to shoot him? And not once 20 times? Really? White guy commits murder by shooting high school kids not one shoot at him, White guy shoots black people while they were worshipping in church no single shot at him but he was arrested and the police had the guts to protect him during arrest by putting a bullet proof vest on him. But God doesn’t leave the wicked unpunished that will be my consolation right now cos i cant rap my head over this

It is quite a terrible situation living with these albinos. Something urgently has to be done so we come together n make our own lands comfortable so we can go back abeg. My consolation is that by these albinos avoiding their own issues; they are digging their own grave and it will back fire. Shebi they want to cuddle and pet their mass shooting kids; their kids will continue to mass shoot their other albinos in their albino schools.
Their population is already threatened given that albino women are more likely to seek help with maternity issues(they have problems getting pregnant) amongst other issues like their having just one or two kids. Their terror wont be forever. Something has got to give

Did i just read paid administrative leave? for shooting a black man 20 times. Jesus! this is always the case all the time with blacks. Whatever happened to shooting on the leg? whites are never shot but blacks are killed like chickens. may the wrath of God fall on these evil doers. The wicked shall not go unpunished says the holy book.

This is absolute wickedness and the wicked ones were even placed on paid administrative leave. What do they need payment for? God is in control. This is how that Trump will not say anything about it.
