Omoni Oboli is phenomenal. She’s purpose driven and has this natural ability to multi task. Seeing these pictures left me emotional. Sweet woman!

My fist instinct when looking at these pictures is to ask: “What is Omoni’s real motive for doing this?” It seems that taking provisions to charities and feeding the poor has become a popular way for celebrities to celebrate their birthdays. But then, I look at the faces of these children who were fed, and who may remember this day forever as a day of pure joy. This reminds me that sometimes, it is easy to get caught up in all these useless arguments of “Is he/she doing this for fame?” or “Why does he/she have cameras there?” when we, as individuals, are not doing anything significant to change the situation like our celebrities who are giving back in their own way. It is easy to criticize of other people’s intentions, but harder to go out and effect real change. At the end of the day, good motive or skewed motive, the point is that the children are being taken care of, and we do not know what change one good meal can cause. It may be difference between life and death, the difference between education and literacy, And if Omoni fufils her promise of feeding 500 children every week, that impact this will have on the children’s lives will be phenomenal. So for doing more than what most Nigerians are doing to help their communities, I celebrate you Omoni.

They are wearing Knorr aprons. That is why cameras are there. Sponsors need the spotlight.

My thought exactly, especially when people were throwing tantrums at the time Madonna and Angelina were adopting kids from third world country. I was almost skewered in half.

Una no go allow black person adopt in peace, accusing the lady of the house of all sorts of voodooo or of not having a womb, yet you wont allow the wealthy Causasian to adopt them either,
