Let’s talk about Rejection! Join Ignite GLA for the Monthly Fellowship this Saturday, May 5th

It is time for another monthly meeting hosted by Ignite GLA. Join us for our May 2018 fellowship themed ‘Rejection’, more likely than not, we have all been through a point in our lives where we have faced rejection.

The thought of rejection is quite hard to deal with and can make a person feel like they are all alone in the world. So many things in life can bring about a feeling of rejection, for some it might be not having an idea at work accepted, having a significant other share that they no longer want to be with you or going through an event and feeling like no one else gets how you feel etc. For others, it might be feeling like they do not fit in at church, at home, a group of friends or feeling like their personalities do not make it easy to be accepted.

Whatever the reason for rejection is, it can create a lot of hurt, make us feel unloved and even stop us from expressing ourselves or doing great things out of fear. The amazing thing is that regardless of what is causing a feeling of rejection, there is healing through Jesus Christ. Psalms 27:10 says “Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close” (NLT), God will never forsake us and His love for us runs so deep.

Join Ignite GLA as we discuss rejection and the realities of life. Tomiwa Immanuel, Imisioluwa Owolabi, Lamidun Jehami, Ini Itama and Ademola Adefarasin will be joining us and it will be an amazing time fellowshipping with believers, there will also be refreshments served after the spiritual refreshment. Ignite is the youth fellowship of Guiding Light Assembly. We are the young members of the GLA family – young men and women in business, young couples, young entrepreneurs; all young Christians who love Jesus and are trying to figure out how to live the Word in an increasingly complicated world. We meet on the first Saturday of every month to gist with the Holy Spirit, ask a lot of questions and to find out what He has to say about our everyday issues.
