John Legend Joins ‘The Voice’ as Coach for Season 16

 

John Legend will be making more than a guest/mentor appearance on the upcoming episode of The Voice.

According to Variety, the singer who recently made the EGOT status, will be joining the music reality show as a coach for its sixteenth season.

The report reveals that Legend will take over Jennifer Hudson‘s spot in the season which debuts in a few months.

On his new role Legend shared on Instagram “I’m thrilled to join the coaches of The Voice. I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”
