Osagie Alonge deletes controversial ‘Loose Talk’ Podcast Episode on Wizkid after “Death Threats”

Published

 on

Osagie Alonge is trending on Twitter at the moment and it has everything to do with an episode of the Loose Talks podcast released on Monday where he criticized Afropop star Wizkid.

While social media continues to buzz, the journalist has taken to his social media platforms to announce, while apologizing, that the podcast has been deleted due to recent threats to his life and the lives of his co-hosts.

In the podcast titled What’s Your Shoe Size? that’s got everyone talking, Osagie and his co-hosts describe Wizkid in the most unflattering terms while cursing him out for being a drug addict who falsified his age, a spendthrift who is unable to care for his sons, among a number of very strong accusations.

They also weighed in on the 2017 feud with Davido.

Truth is bitter, and expensive. The irony of that is, the lack of truth is also why people are slowly dying. Nobody wants all their dirty business out there but the covering up has gone too far.
The recent physical appearance of Wizkid tells a lot of stories without even knowing him personally.
He looks like a druggie, stressed out, lost, insecure, lost so much weight(not that nice look from exercising and eating healthy).
I hope people around him will stop being an enabler, which is what comes with fame and money, people are afraid to keep it real.
I hope he gets the help that he needs.

    #warning very strong words# #18+.
First of all. E be like say una no know say davido boys dey behind wizkid! Dey don SETTLE, the bond is there, you dissing wiz in public, means you want street problems. Abi na air you dey stay??
Secondly, I’ve been reading lots! From one guy talking about ‘he knows you have drug problems and lost weight and later came home to get help’ and some saying he’s lazy. Do you know the meaning of dedication and going against the world. After all these years staying on top, then you guys still want more from him, like what else should he do?? These guys hardly sleep, oh you think cos he goes for selective shows, he at home smoking weed. This music game will drain ur blood and sweat, it will take all the MAN in you to keep pushing and paving the way. Abi you think say dem no dey pray make wizi fall, all the evils and all?? Still he gives us love makes us free our mind. Still humble.
Osazie I can mention all ur problems in life here, it will break ur soul and make you sober. But you prefer spitting venom in interviews. Give ur advice and coaching to ur son n let him blow pass wiz, since na you sabi pass. His babymama, him smoking weed, his past with managers is none of ur business. You compared m.i to jay-z one time but forgot jay-z sold drugs!! Stabbed his manager!! Almost left beyonce for Becky with the good hair! One of ur favs eminem sold his soul and said he wasn’t afraid to leave!! + drug addiction and all!! But you won’t see that! The world don’t need you, keep on gathering nerds like you and controversial social awkward guys to be riding ur d***.
Man I think I got pissed off yo! Wizkid if you read this, ma nigga you are from africa, uncivilized and undeveloped, with the evil mentalities of their forefathers! They hate those africans who see the light and shining. I know you know this, WIZKID don’t stop. I dey ur back for life BROTHER!!!!

So getting on drugs and stabbing managers implies seeing the light. The jazz oyinbo people used to perpetually hold black folks backwards ehn! I need the Baba that gave them that jazz. And it’s not jazz, it’s just brains. Use the power of media to sell negativities like drugs and violence to them, so they see those things as ‘cool’ whilst we keep dominating spaces that matter- tech, finance, global politics, military. Their ancestors were stupid back in the days, they turned against each other for something as mundane as an umbrella. The descendants should be just as stupid. Paint violence and irresponsibility to them as ‘glam’ and you got ’em.

@Ijebuijesha, abegi try put a cork in it just small small…ok

You think black folks do more drugs than white folks?! You talk about stabbing when white folks are running around doing mass shooting every other day. Abegi, don’t cram and regurgitate racist BS that oyinbo is peddling. That’s actually the sort of mis-education that holds us down!

      @T
So with all this epistle, WHAT is your view on wizkid not taking responsibility for his children?! Because that is the issue on ground, not how he strove to get to the top – we know that already.

You sound like a bad friend, ass licker, enabler. Is it until smth happen to wizkid dat people will start crying witchcraft. (rolling eyes)
Wizkid’s bad behavior and fast lifestyle is unacceptable. his fame and money does not excuse it. people who truly care about him need to sit him down and help him

I agree with you bro but calling Osagie a nerd is so wrong. The guy is a fool. Very naive and unprofessional. I wonder how he landed that job.

Come, is there an operation bring wizkid down this year? You lie! This story has been played before. Once, there was Tuface and dbanj and somehow people preferred dbanj because he was loud an “entartainer” and probably didn’t have any baby mama drama. How did it turn out? Talent stayed true which was Tuface ofcourse but more importantly, Dbanj and Tuface were cool without the limelight. Same is being done with Wizkid and Davido. Fact is all this is being done to make it look like Davido is a better individual. Errrrrrm, they are both different and have flaws. However, I am a huge fan of wizkid and think the guy is way talented, mature, a bit shy (if you watch him you will know), quite humble (watch him closely you will know this as well). Above all, he minds his business. So what is your problem osagz? You want him to be loud mouthed and show off on social media? It’s so sad how one can be this hateful and spiteful of another human. really sad. live and let live. If you must criticize, criticize talent, songs, art his works. But then again, you are a hater so you will rather criticize his lifestyle who he hangs and doesn’t hang with than talk about the work he does. Are you a gossip blogger? Choose your struggle so we know. I find this annoyingly annoying abeg.
