It’s HERE! Watch the Debut Teaser Trailer for Disney’s “Lion King” starring Beyoncé, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Donald Glover
Last year the news about the Disney “Lion King” remake was made and it got us all so excited.
Now, the teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action remake of Disney’s The Lion King has been revealed!
Directed by Jon Favreau, the movie’s first teaser already shows us some of the iconic sequences from the animated film, including baby Simba’s debut at Pride Rock.
James Earl Jones is reprising his role as the voice of Mufasa. In the trailer, he voices the famous speech to Simba:
“Everything the light touches is our kingdom. But, a king’s time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.”
The movie also features the voices of Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, John Oliver as Zazu, and Keegan-Michael Key as Kamari.
