Ethiopians dominate at the 2019 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, with Sintayehu Legese winning the male event and Meseret Dinke winning the female event.
The two finished first at the event that started at the National Stadium in Surulere and finished at the Eko Atlantic City.
Sintayehu finished the race with a time of 2:17:26, ahead of Kenyans Joshua Kipkorir and William Yegon.
Punch reports that the female race was entirely dominated by Ethiopians, with Alemnesh Herepa and Kebena Chala finishing second and third respectively.
Both Legese and Dinke will go home with the winning prize of $50,000 each.
