Khafi & Venita end their Long War & The Pepper Dem Gang presents The Rich Tiv Culture on #BBNaija Day 45
Sealed Lips And An Open Heart
Keeping a secret and being openminded, how hard can that be in the Big Brother Naija House?
An Open Secret
Following Biggie’s Secret Task, Cindy decided to carry out Big Brother’s instruction and divulge the secret. She picked Khafi as the hearer of these words and her choice of Khafi was not out of the blues. In the Diary Room last night, Cindy revealed to Biggie that if she had the power to Save anyone from the Nomination list, she will Save Khafi. Her reason was that she connects more with Khafi.
As soon as Khafi heard the secret, she told Cindy that she has not earned up to 1000 Bet9ja Coins yet and she doesn’t want Biggie to take half of their Coins. She, however, promised to keep sealed lips on the matter. Will she be true to her promise?
Being Blunt
“What do you think about me?” This was the question Cindy asked Venita.
Venita was in the Head of House Room when Cindy asked that they have a one on one chat. Back to their bedroom, Venita opened up to Cindy about how she felt about the latter’s entry into the House. According to Venita, Cindy was disconnected but she liked the fact that she was coming out of her shell little by little.
Cindy also seized the opportunity to vent about Enkay’s attitude to her over a Ludo game. She told Venita that she wanted to flip the Ludo board but held herself from doing so.
With this heart to heart session these two had, do we see a friendship bond-forming?
On Profanity and Curse Words
Yesterday, an instruction went into the House that swearwords were not permitted in the House for the next 48 hours. To drive the point, Biggie provided a swear jar where 10 Bet9ja Coins will be deposited for every profanity uttered by the Housemates.
Well, Elozonam and Sir Dee decided to teach us the difference between curse words and profane words. The argument went on to the point of inviting Gedoni and Mike to be the judge of the matter.
Curse words or profane words, Biggie will show them the highlight one of these days and they will be reminded that Big Brother sees and hears all.

Khafi And Venita Bury The Hatchet
After a face-off in the garden yesterday, Khafi and Venita finally resolved their conflict.
Khafi and Venita felt it was about time to let sleeping dogs lie as both finally decided to resolve their misunderstanding in the lounge this morning.
What Sparked the Fire
Since Venita came into the House, she has left the impression that her stay will be spicy. Besides her grand entrance which elicited more excitement from his hosts than Cindy and Enkay’s, she was also quick to reveal her likeness for Gedoni not minding what Khafi’s reaction would be. With this, it might be safe to say that the disagreement must have stemmed from this incident.
Time to Make Peace
The issue between Khafi and Venita did not stop in the garden yesterday. This morning, all efforts made by concerned parties to resolve it were almost to no avail. Joe was the first person to intervene. He approached Venita and asked her to bury the hatchet. Afterward, he also met with Khafi in the kitchen on the matter, but she told him, “I don’t think words are going to change anything.” Hearing her response, Venita gave Joe that looks of “I told you.”
Seeing that Joe’s intervention wasn’t enough, Venita took the matter to the Lion King, Mike. Of course, we are all aware of Mike’s reputation in settling disputes in the House. So seeing Venita seated with him at the dining was not surprising. But Khafi wasn’t ready for any discussion about the issue, and that’s why she excused herself when Mike and Venita asked her to sit with them to iron out the issue.
Burying the Hatchet
A few minutes before Seyi gathered all the Housemates in the lounge, Venita was seen walking with Khafi asking her to respond to the matter between them. Irritated, Khafi said sharply, “It’s over.” Then Venita responded with “Are you sure?”. In an unconvincing voice, Khafi replied her, “100 percent.”
Later, sitting alone in the lounge, both had a long conversation about the matter. While Venita said that she had no regret for not wanting her in the Task, Khafi said that since they were all in the House together for the same reason, no one should bar anybody from taking part in a Task. After the back and forth, Venita apologized. “I’m really really sorry,” she said.
Though they had come to an agreement about the issue, will Khafi still forgive Venita if she moves close to her man again? Well, let’s see how it turns out.

A Rich Heritage
The Pepper Dem Gang had fun with their Heritage Bank drama presentation at the Tor Tiv coronation ceremony. Here’s how it went down.
Following Biggie’s announcement that the Heritage Bank’s Coronation Task would kick-off in three hours, the Pepper Dem Gang gathered in the lounge and started their final rehearsals. What followed was an amazing drama presentation in the rich Tiv culture.
The Apparel Of Honour
Shortly before the actual presentation began, the Housemates got a surprise package from Heritage Bank. It was the costume that each of them would later wear to give us a brilliant performance. After putting on their clothes, all of them looked stunning, a treat most fitting for a rich coronation.
The Tor Tiv, Seyi, was clad in a flowing striped agbada with a touch of black and red. Frodd, Gedoni and Omashola looked great in their various dashiki wears. For the ladies, it was a beautiful sight as each of them appeared elegant and royally. Just like in a regular royal setting, the Pepper Dem ladies looked really gorgeous in their traditional outfits.
Before the Show
To kick start the Heritage Bank Task was a troupe of traditional dancers who thrilled us with their dance steps amidst beautiful Tiv songs. It was a colourful moment as the Housemates watched in amazement. Then after this, the drama began.
The Tor Tiv Coronation
To open the floor was Gedoni who performed the role of a narrator as he gave us the background to the play. After this, Frodd came onboard with a praise poem extolling the wonderful qualities of the Tor Tiv. We reckon Seyi’s head must have swollen at this point, well, if words could do that. This was followed by Sir Dee’s coronation ritual. As the custom demands, the king, in this case, the Tor Tiv, had to take an oath. This was handled by Sir Dee, who read out a long note of promises which Seyi repeated.
The last rite was the praise singer’s part, and Omashola stepped in. In his usual dramatic tone, he eulogized the king so much that Seyi’s smile broadened when he said that, “the Tor Tiv killed a hyena with his bare hands.” After this, it was time for the Tor Tiv to shower the land with his prayers. And Seyi acted this well like a true king. And then curtain called.
Though the Housemates put in their best efforts in this Task, we hope they sustain the energy in the subsequent ones.
